Your fury is looking quite good so far, your interior trim panels are in surprisingly good shape. Perfectly re usable. Maybe a little tidy up on the drivers panel. Your trunk is also looking good so far. So far, the only body rot seems to be primarily confined to the rest lower quarter panels, which is an easy repair for you to do. And I suspect a replacement missing hood hinge spring can be sourced for not too much trouble. The seats need to be re upholstered, but the bases, springs and backings seem to be in good shape. Over all, this car is getting better and better.

Hey Mike maybe one day you can explain on what's going on with the 59. It was that car that drew me to your channel. Don't get me wrong, I love all the in between stuff, but I'm an old car builder, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. The Fury is also a nice add-on. Keep up the good work!

Another nice job! I’m not a fan of lowered cars but I’m loving this Fury. She’s nice and growly. Hey, I really like how you say, “We’ll find out in a minute!” It reminds me of a story of a schoolgirl drawing a person for a class assignment. The teacher was making the rounds and stopped to ask her whom she was drawing. She answered, “God.” The teacher reminded her that no one really knows what God looks like. Her precious response: “They will in a minute!” Keep up the good work. I was *just* thinking we were overdue for a video and a fireside chat.

The rake isn't a bad look on it to be honest! But you are right, need a little height or it'll be a surface street cruiser only. Super surprised about the floors since I remembered you said the roof had issues. I take it you'll prep and put some rust converter over the floors before you put some insulation down and new carpet? Staying with the OG green or are you going black on the interior? Definitely looking forward to the future videos. That is a slick ride!

The little tubes are your main well air bleeds. They allow air to mix with fuel and make a froth in the wells that feed the venturaes. The rod sticking out with the spring around it is your power valve. Depending on vacuum, it will raise or lower to adjust how much furl goes in the main wells

Can't wait to see the roof. I hope you take the economical route. Not every car needs to be repaired like a show car. I say grind it, rust convert it and skim it with bondo after addressing any large holes. Then you can do the bed liner trick. If you plan on painting the whole car I personally would ditch the vinyl top moldings and spray the whole car 1 color.

Something quietly satisfying seeing mayhem in an interior cleaned out and reduced to a solid floor. Looks like there are NO issues there! The seats actually look in good shape underneath so maybe look at recovering what you have? That was a cool interior trim style though. i also noted you are getting really positive vibes from 'Coldwarmotors' up in the far north of Canada. They have some REALLY old American / Canadian cars and restore some crazy builds. They liked the Fury project and I am sure would like to see over the Coronet if you have 5 minutes. Either way mate great progress. All is good if she drives!

One of the big issues with old cabs is when it has a Phenolic float IE the plastic foam one yours has. After years of sitting it will soak up gas and constantly flood your engine.

Great content! This one is definitely a real keeper and worthy of becoming you channel's mascot. I couldn't believe the floors. Vice Grip Garage would really envy this one. It sounded great after the carburetor rebuild. Reminds me of the 60s when even someone with as little expertise as I have could bring an old car back to life with a carb rebuild. I'm looking forward to you having some more fun with this one. It's a far cry from following a flip series.😁

You can try to find a 340 4bbl manifold and carb will work great. A good wire brushing and a couple coats rust inhibiter before you decide to put carpet back in will keep the floor from rusting the rest the way. I had a 67 Barracuda that I put a mild built 360 in and it was my favorite car.

In 1981 as a 15 yr old my dads friend at work had one for sale for $300! It was red with black vinyl top & interior but what really got me was the 360 4 bbl & the guy had put dual exhaust with glass packs on it & it sounded great! Was a good looking car that I drove for almost a year before a drunk driver ran a light & T boned me totaling it!

A 68-70 Plymouth Roadrunner gas tank will direct fit in this car. Only difference is it gives you space for dual exhausts which makes it slightly thinner & holds less gas. They are available on eBay for $139. w/free S&H, RIGHT NOW! Lets you avoid all the extra vent lines. Some 69-73 C-body tanks ARE longer by a few inches, but the B-body tank can be made to fit w/little trouble.
