What a missed opportunity it was to not title this 'Forsaken by SYLVANAS!'

If we get Calia shoehorned as the Forsaken leader, I will straight up riot...from the safety of my home, of course, pandemic and all.

having an undead light queen in charge of the forsaken and a tyralion in charge of the alliance with fol being an important figure to both, could lead to a peace deal. plus even without a time skip 2 years will have past. strathome (or however it pronuced) might be rebuilt.

I don't think Sylvanas referred to the Forsaken, but just the horde people and probably whole Azeroth / living beings in general. Afterall She freed, gave free will and loved the Forsaken. As You said Calia is an undead but not a Forsaken but unfortunately It's hard to find any other good leader...

I enjoy the warmongery of the forsaken all the way throughout classic and bfa, its like the most interesting thing about them. seeing them becoming depressed and regretting alot of the actions they took, along will allowing the alliance to have more control over them with Calia makes me depressed.

The poor writing in Sylvanas' character development and how it actually destroyed the Forsaken faction are main reasons why I stopped playing WoW. Like the pre-BfA Sylvanas and BfA Sylvanas are two totally different characters with a forced backstory behind the shift. Really, after Shadowlands release, playing Silverpine Forest and Stormheim questlines literally broke my Forsaken heart :/

Whaaat? Who wants a faction war? Everyone!!! One of the main thing that i loved about wow was the feeling of war and friendly/enemy teritories. Going in a horde zone as an aliance felt scarry and awesome. Its called world of WARcraft for a reason..

Forsaken need a new strong leader and a new home! For the forsaken💀!

If you hear the undead intro - specially the vanila one - you will see, that the forsaken doesnt see them self as fully part of the Horde - the Horde are mearly a means to the end. (sylvanas only joined the Horde after the Alliance had shone em away) - so she didnt forsake the Forsaken - only the Horde (and alliance) - aka living things.. She wants more. Doubt Celia will be Forsaken leader - Lilian perhaps. I think more like a council of some sort will be instated. Sylvanas will never be killed of, so perhaps she still have a part to play in the future.

Sylvanas called everyone nothing not the forsaken as a target.

Both Lilian and Calia have established that they desire to reclaim the Ruins of Lordaeron for the Forsaken, which is something that is certainly doable. I don’t see the Forsaken abandoning their homeland and the Eastern Kingdoms as likely at all. Lordaeron remains a core part of their identity, just as Ashenvale and Darkshore are to the Night Elves. Blizzard talking about the separate factions controlling most of the main continents seems to have just pertained to BfA, and BfA is now over. I do believe it’s likely the Ruins of Lordaeron will be reclaimed and restored under the Forsaken banner at some point in the future, and perhaps peace with the human kingdoms to the south will at last be achieved, but this is still a ways off unfortunately.

I dont want harmony with the alliance. I want the Forsaken like they were a few years ago. I want Lordaeron back and Undercity as an important place again. Let us take what belongs to us. Death to the living. And I want to serve the Queen! We will never betray her.

I honestly do not trust Calia, I do not like the way she was made by the light, just what is the light planning?

Only 1 way to stop the Alliance from claiming Lordaeron, put Calia on the throne, because it's her birthright. This way if the Alliance tries to retake the city, they'd be seen as invaders.

What blizzard thinks forsaken players want = calia menethil with her fancy pants light forged undead model. What forsaken players actually want = Gunther arcanus with his pointy hat.

I'm personally rather Night king be leader of the Forsaken then Calia Menethil .

Seeing as Calia is supposed to be of the Light, perhaps a new or renamed "The Reborn" faction will arise.

And in the end, I think it must be about faith, and if faith is a choice, then it can be lost - for a man, an elf, or Sylvanas herself. And if faith means never completely understanding The Dark Lady's plan, then maybe understanding just a part of it - our part - is what it is to have a home. And maybe in the end, that's what being forsaken is, after all.

The Forsaken already knew what she meant by "You are all nothing!" It's what Sylvanas meant when she spoke to the night elf before burning Teldrassil. That they are just as much of pawns to the Powers that Be as the undead were to the Lich King. It has always been in the faction name. Forsaken. It wasn't until she yeeted herself off the top of ICC and experienced the Shadowlands that she realized the rest of the mortal races were just as futile. Sylvanas fascinates me because she went from Lawful Good to Neutral to the brink of Chaotic Evil. Though Anduin & the Jailer are proving that she hasn't crossed permanently over that line. I still think as an Undead herself, she must still care about that existential problem. But I think right now she's prioritizing eternity over mortality

I feel that the forsaken should unite with the living humans of Lordaeron and then should be ruled by a triumvirate of Lillian Voss, Calia Menethis and Turalyon. As a plus, it might allow humans to be playable as a horde race.

If they dont want to get rid off the faction system, but seeing how the story of the Forsaken is going on... My opinion is: Calia and Derek are making the Forsaken to be in the Alliance (this could be with the acceptance of Lillian Voss or even with her refusal). Whike Anduin is in the Shadowlands, the Scarlet Crusade is also negotiating with Turalyion, regent of Stormwind. Because the light, like the void, wants to consume (in her way, i mean, u are with me or u are against me) this will cause some catastrogffic events to the Forsaken some been infused with the light like Calia and the rest persecute for death. This would make a fravtion of the Forsaken to find shelter again in the Horde, leading them Lilian Voss and Derek (and prooobably Calia, who is watching how the light is not as good as it looks like). And withbthat, you have the beginning of a Azertoth expansion or even one connected to the Light

When you level a Forsaken,the Undercity and Sylvanas are both still there.

This all depends on the future of our king. High Exarch Turalyon is king in his away. Turalyon will not care about the forsaken change. All he cares for is the light and they are far from it. He will be up in arms to destroy them if can. Great video :P

As someone who has loved the Forsaken since I first got into WoW and the lore I gotta say. If we ever get Calia as our leader I'm probably gonna abandon all my undead characters. Fuck that, that would be a betrayal of all the things that make the Forsaken great. I don't need another war, or for them to stay as edgy goth undead or whatever. I think healing and finding a new purpose would be great. But NOT if it's lead by some fuckwit "undead" that only was dead for like 2 seconds before getting healed up to look all pretty and basically the same as before my the light. Blizzard needs to do what they started doing in the BFA book with the forsaken having their own council, maybe with Lillian as a leader, and then go from there. Calia is a NO

The horde never liked the forsaken. The forsaken litterally followed sylvanas and thats it. They only joined the horde cause of sylvanas. And because it was the most tactical at that moment. If there would come a third faction the forsaken would most likely be part of that. In my opinion Sylvanas will always be the true forsaken leader. Anyone can say what they want. Because of her the forsaken actually had a home. But some wouldnt have been forsaken if she didnt revive them as undead XD Anyways I see them giving Arthas the throne to lead the forsaken. Which would be BS in my opinion. Because Sylvanas is just as Arthas under influences of bad shit. Even tho Sylvanas has free will. An angry raging person full of hate will act different then one wil has a clear mind.

I don't see Calia as a Forsaken leader... She sees them as the people of Lorderon and herself as Kind Therenas' daughter their rightful ruler - which for modern standards is quite strange and I dont see the Forsaken buy into this. Which she knows, but she wants to helps them none the less, whether as queen or counselor or ambassador or just priestess. Lillian Voss might push her to be a leader but as you already said, she is not forsaken: Calia has absolutely no idea what it means to belong to the Forsaken, she was never forsaken by anyone. She may share a homeland and due to her brothers deeds she wants to atone (?) for that, but I dont see the majority willing to follow her. Espcially since they are also members of the Horde, and Calia is not. At least, I dont see her as a Horde member. I found it strange enough that she was the Forsaken representative during ShL... It wouldnt surprise me, despite all my points here, that ActiBlizz is setting her up to be the next leader (just like they are setting up Anduin and Taelia) for the Forsaken and all and that she might serve as a bridge between the factions just as Jaina was till Mists. I dont like the idea, but I'm not the one writing the story, sooooo...

Here's an interesting idea, What if The Forsaken try to take Stratholme to be their new stronghold and capital?

In my mind the "good ending" is Calia works with the Forsaken and the Alliance to clean up Lordaeron. The Alliance really wants Gilneas and Lordaeron so why not clean the area up for them. This doesn't mean all Forsaken become friendly with the Alliance. We can still have the "evil" Forsaken continue to chase Sylvanas/Jailer/just hate anything alive. The "bad" ending is Blizzard does nothing with this storyline and Gilneas/Lordaeron remain ruins for the next 10 years.

I like the idea of them simply gaining their humanity back and rebuilding Lordaeron. I'm just over zombies in general. Time to move on. I also like the idea of them simply finding peace in the afterlife/shadowlands. The arc needs to wrap up.

I think it's a bit awkward how they've done the story overall.... Sylvanas' final departure as the biggest most obvious insult to everyone is actually a worse insult to the audience. Maybe someone got the wrong end of GYSGT Hartman's intro and thought THAT's what it takes to make everyone not like someone... And then we follow up the whole arc with a huge bullshit larger than life storyline where we basically see how insignificant life can be as we just circumvent death and hang out in the afterlife watching all kinds of bullshit unfold where lives are literal currency that makes existence stable... like a fuel source or bartering goods.

So the talk of a time skip has had me think of what blizzard hasn't done in the past 15 years for the expansions to figure out the next expansion after shadowlands. If there is a time skip we could get two class to make the time skip work for the story. So the undead wonder Azeroth without the Lich King's will controlling them causing destructive odds against the forces Azeroth left stretched to handle without new Hero's to help control, amass, and decay the undead to their will, the necromancer with the power of necrotic arts in blood-bending players, amass multiple fallen npc pet types, and decay crush opponents into the earth, and possibly allow the forsaken to bring more of their kind into the fold with the purpose of taking their home Tirasfal Glade back from the Alliance. I have another class called the entertainer but let me show you what it is with its specs. Also to everyone who has shared these ideas before, this is a work in process and we want a good class without ridicule. 1. Acrobat is opposite to a monk in which they constantly move and hit opponents pressure points making them easier to hit and harder to attack back while increasing allies chances to dodge incoming attacks. (Think of Ty Lee from avatar the last airbender cause they can high jump behind players too and jab them in the back.) 2. Minstrel is a healer who uses Rhythm to generate mana reserves to heal allies with the power of music, (not the guitar hero april fools joke) a real system similar to other class systems. (Its the bard from the live classic trailer announcement) 3. Gunslinger is the ranged class dual wielding pistols, hand crossbows, or throwing knives, to dazzle crowds in amaze, distracting trick shots, quick draws, and four finger trigger wounds. (Your a Cowboy, a Gangster, a Juggler of knives, axes or hammers) 4. Skald is a Melee DPS using the sound of their voice to shatter opponents while invigorate allies to deal more damage with stories of the past. (Your the Dovakiin or a Siren.) Afew more things they can all do real quick, the can dance while walking if you type /dance, rest experience gains are slower or faster depending if players wear heirlooms or not and to allies, can play your own music for everyone or World of Warcraft's playlist, can wear chainmail armor, dual weild swords, axes, and maces as well as the new pistols and hand crossbows(gunslingers only), fist weapons, staves and two handed weapons to adhere to your gameplay style choice. The toy box already has a good selection of new weapons for the class to, the instruments can be equipped in the second weapons of your character items screen, reintroduced for other classes as well for ranged and melee combat choices. If you got this far then you like what you read or want to know what the fuck i just wrote, but the entertainer is coming to wow to lighten the load of a time skip with the undead rising. the two classes are opposite of each other in their roles and gameplay but story wise they make the most sense since a time skip is most likely going to happen and what better classes to deal with such a event then the Necromancer and the Entertainers after the undead reek havoc on the world of Azeroth and many hero's that went beyond the veil may not return. From a Lore perspective they makes sense, since the knights of the ebon blade are few in number on azeroth, the necromancer could be accepted into society maybe even apart of the kirin tor, the entertainer would be all the events that go on year round becoming the solution to calming and invigorate allies during these times as new heros rise up (new characters) and two classes from a expansion pack would be something new, and if the landscapes changed as well would work for the story too, I've been thinking this since shadowlands launch.

"who wants another faction war?" Uh Blizzard? Thats pretty much the only real story beat they know how to do... phenomenal cosmic threats and itty bitty faction wars. It also allows them to scream for the horde at blizzconjob and shit on alliance players.

You can't be abandoned by Waifu Sylvanas if you are a Loyalist and believe everything she does, she does for a reason and according to her plan, which you support.

Just make Gunter Arcanus their leader and claim Stratholme as their home.

It might also be that just not a lot of people play forsaken, and even if they don't remove the faction, it's just going to dwindle in influence and importance over time.

Nothing changed. We dont know what is happening to the undead. Syvannas fucked off. Nathanos is dead. Nothing has been said about the Undead's place in the Horde. Only options for leaders are; Lilian Calia Menethil Bolvar - now that he's not the Lich King

I wish the Forsaken would get someone as a leader who looks sinister but isnt. Like a warlock with rotting flesh and fel glow eyes. But no, it will probably be Calia, another priest leader whos more of an Alliance character than Horde. Horde leaders are so weak.

If Anduin were on the side of the good, an agreement could be reached so that the forsaken can live in harmony with the Alliance since in themselves they are not a race but a state of existence (undead), and in reality they are once murdered humans and returned to life to conquer, but now free from their chains, they could try to return to their former activities alongside humans, which by the way was attempted and ended in a massacre carried out by Sylvanas and which incidentally took Calia's life. Now, Anduin is with the bad guys and I don't know who is currently the highest authority but the leader of the Alliance is the king of humans and for now Turalyon sits on that throne so things could get to a darker place than what we would like. After all, the great story is called Warcraft and not Peacecraft so we'll see what triggers the next conflict.

This will all bigg a hugh mess. Forsakens not have a leader and all undead not have a leader (leachkinh is no more). Sooo, we have a lots of angry undeads whit no leader and hugh war for humanity just wait to start. Maybe this is good point for Warcraft 4 ???

Lilian Voss: Leader of Forsaken (Horde). Delaryn Summermoon: Leader of new sub-faction, related to a new class Dark Ranger, like The Illidari forces; at the service of the new kingdom of Lordaeron (Neutral; undead blood elf & undeads Amani trolls Horde, undead kaldorei & "human like Nathanos and Calia "Alliance).

Come on! Imagine you are the leader of the Horde. Alliance have been spreading propaganda against you, like innocent Nelf burning in the tree. because you know the Alliance evacuated nearly all of them with portals and flying mounts. Then, half of the Horde is rebelling against you with the leader being a respected Orc who is too old to see the little lion is manipulating him. To top it off, he insults you by calling out some mistakes and cuts you. Now, you are so mad you say something foolish, but in your anger and frustration you double down, we all been there. But, yes, in the cosmic scale of the WoW universe...we are all nothing.

I think the Forsaken are going to become extinct. They can't procreate and they can't replenish their numbers without Sylvanis. Eventually the Forsaken will be wiped out. If that happens there's a chance we may no longer be able to play as Forsaken anymore. Not sure what may happen for those who currently have Forsaken characters. Maybe we'll get free race changes or our Forsaken characters will be the only surviving members of the Forsaken race.
