I rolled the dice on this Ebay 1970 Chevelle many years ago, buying it without seeing it in person. The listing had only one pic that is attached as the first slide. The Car was in Southern California in the Mojave Desert area. Being in the northeast where everything rusts from winter salt, I figured a southwestern car would have a lot of good sheet metal to work with and it was worth taking a chance. Shipping ended up costing more than what I paid for the car but I was happy to see solid sheet metal when it arrived. All the glass except the quarters was smashed. What remained of the headliner was hanging out the back window opening when it arrived. It didn’t have any other interior parts or engine. A car with four flat tires that couldn’t move under its own power complicated the shipping process, but it finally made it to my house. Since it arrived, I’ve been collecting all the missing parts from swap meets, etc. I finally started working on it around 2019.
Although I had the car for many years, I probably have about 2 -3 years of nights and weekends into it (day job slows things down a bit 😉). It took me longer than a professional, but I managed to complete everything myself in my backyard garage.
Car was updated with the following:
454 HO crate engine with an Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI
