I'm loving these videos,I'm surprised st all the antique stuff still there & not vandalized.the teddy bear made me sad because someone took something special & turned it into something evil.thanks for another great find & I can't wait till the next video :-)

I was about to say this. I was an undertaker for 8 years in Britain. The room is for embalming and cleaning bodies. I can say, if you can think it, I've seen it. Maggots and all

LarryUK I can’t imagine . I do have a friend who is an undertaker but he will not discuss anything since he is well known in our town. He wouldn’t ever gossip about anyone which I respect. ( small town) I lost my only child 2 yr ago and I think about it every day. Sadly i think of the coroner, the undertaker etc. I know what happens in an autopsy and it haunts me to this day. I didn’t want one done but it was a law in the state he lived in. I give much credit to anyone who worked in either of these careers. A lot of passion and strong to say the least

i completely agree with you, but its inevitable sadly.

When you think about it, vandalizing abandon places is actually kind of smart cause it can be used as a way to prevent yourself from getting lost. It's especially useful in places like abandoned hospitals/asylums. Not only that, but people can make some damn good art through vandalism.

@@xxKiwiBearxx My job as a security officer was to conduct a security check of the entire hospital about every two hours or so. Also I was to assist the nurses and doctors as needed with any of the patient's. This was a mental hospital and from time to time they would need help with a patient. I would conduct security checks from the basement level to the 6th floor, which was the highest level. The 6th floor was actually a utility area on top of the main hospital roof. From the outside this part looked like a small building sitting on top of the main roof, which was flat and had a layer of gravel on it. This level had HVAC units and the mechanisms that controlled the elevators in it. To reach this level from the inside required going up some very steep steps. There was no lights in the stairwell until I got into the utility room itself and I had to find the light switch to turn on the lights. Sometimes I just used my flashlight instead of turning on the light. One night as I was conducting my security check a piece of gravel was hurled across the floor towards me. There was no one with me, so supposedly I was alone except for whatever caused that small rock to me move across the floor toward me. It was as if someone kicked the gravel in my direction. It felt as if some evil presence was there trying to frighten me. I immediately started to pray and rebuke in Jesus name whatever was there. The basement level also felt like a dungeon. Parts of the building were over 100 years old. The basement was one of those 100 year old parts. One night I also saw what appeared to be a shadow move across a dimly lit hallway when nothing was there. Some officers reported hearing voices at night behind locked doors in empty rooms. I did a lot of praying and singing hymns each time I conducted my security rounds.

Autopsies were done in embalming rooms many years ago. I'm fourth generation funeral director and have pics of them being done in my family owned funeral home.

No not in Indiana they aren’t. Most are done at Hospitals or Funeral Homes.

Not all. Do your research because some funeral homes had autopsies done. I think it was clever to do them both at the same place.

It's not the point of these videos to open drawers, fridges, or anything else. He isn't rooting around, looking for things. He's walking around the building, showing it to you as is, as time stands still around it.

Yeah there might have been some organs in jars or something. But at least he *did* open part of it.

steve m it could appear incriminating to open/rummage through things. and it most likely wouldve just had long expored food in it, definitely wouldntve been the highlight of the episode.

Iallso suggested the gloves and respirator and many nurses scrubs on shoes and bio hazard cloths as well to prevent germs getting them and sharp items and other stuff

Absolutely correct. I've embalmed autopsy bodies for over 25 years now and that's exactly what's it's used for.
