That was brave Chris. Very entertaining though , for the whole time I thought something would go wrong. Reality TV at its best. But please, don't put yourself into unnecesary danger, especially not for RU-vid. Your videos are so great, as they are. And although I love Charlene's "Single female trip videos" it would be a pitty, if you were missing you in the vids because something had happened to you. Still I think it is awesome to see how friendly the Albanian people are. That is something I have also observed in Germany. When you meet 10 Albanians 9,5 of them are friendly, helpfull and polite.

the driver was trying to tell you to stop at rrogozhine which is like a cross road between the cities, rather than come up to tirana with him. you would have had a better chance in rrogozhine to find a ride to elbasan. but when he tried to hint you to stop at rrogozhine, you told him tirana tirana. he was trying to explain by doing a sign in the palm of his hand with points. young people know english. old people dont know english. the dictator did not allow learning of foreign languages so they were blocked out from any language. a small hint, you can just enter a small shop to ask for information or directions. rather than wait by the side of the street. the second taxi driver is complaining because of the traffic. its funny understanding both sides. he says 2hrs stuck in traffic. you tell him thank you. and then he says: eh what can i do? thats the situation. but hey, you made it long way for free in one of the poorest countries in europe. well done :)

To everyone saying it could went wrong, let me tell you people you watch too much movies. Albanian people are nothing like in the Taken movie, the worst that could happen was he had to walk since no one would stop picking a stranger, which that would happen anywhere in the world. Albanians are nice and welcoming, you should watch other youtubers who do speak a little bit of albanian and see how welcomed and hospitality they receive. This case is more bad luck and lack of communication rather than, "ohh it could went worse".
