Speaking of the mall what kind of shape is it in?

It's unfortunate to see it go (even if it had mixed reviews), that location had been there since I was a kid. I even live not too far from this former location. There is a Popeyes that opened up right nearby a couple of years ago, and I guess it had a hard time competing with them. On the other hand, Peoria does not have a Jewel like in Chicago, but it does have Hy-Vee (another grocery chain that also sells fried chicken).

The building looks good inside and out. Too bad they closed. But with those prices I can understand why.

Too bad about EYM and KFC. Does IL have Pizza Ranch? They have good fried chicken. IA is losing a Big Lots, but it is in Des Moines. I haven't read anymore on Davenport yet.
