Hello and welcome back for another refubrish video, todays video is on about a Makita EH760 hedgetrimmer that is fitted with dual cutter blades instead of the standard '1' cutter direction. this machine doesnt have a lot of history behind it, however, from what I have made out it has not run for 'at least' 3 years (you may be able to tell at the end of the video when there is quite a bit of smoke released when running at full revs.
I should point out that when i was re-assembling the carburettor, the gasket where the metering diaphragm sits on is incorrect, the correct one has two holes at the front, like the one shown in the video, but hen another hole on the back for the fuel return, I did try starting this machine a few hours later with no luck other than fuel gushing out of the carburettor, this was amended shortly after.
I will also note that some bits of the video werent recorded or were lost during the filming process, so some steps that would have been taken were either not recorded or the camera did not save them.
I may post a bit more videos on this machine, like sharpening the blades or adding new parts (which I am awaiting still), however if you have any recommendations, I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.
