Throughout the country, there are so many of these Victorian Manors that are abandoned or lefts in disrepair where the money is not available. A lot of them seem to be graded but that does not help. So sad.

I can guess that it would have been a beautiful building in its day, it’s so sad that it’s been left to decay but the size and age of these buildings, and the expensive, quality materials, with vat at 20% means they become money pits where they just constantly need repairing, whereas a new boring box building can be built from cheap modern low grade materials vat free. Once they’re gone, they will never be anything like them. Thank you for documenting this before it’s lost forever.

Handsome building in terminal decay. Great video, sad to see such wonderful buildings go to the wall, especially when the skills to build something like this nowadays with the same craftsmanship are completely lacking and we shall never see their like again.

The big chandelier is gone now. On my first visit 1 month ago I found it smashed all over the stairs. I had to lift it off so I could get a good shot. Upon my second visit it was gone.

I had my midwifery lectures here in the 1990s. It was falling apart then and the top floor and basement were condemned

That was just wow what a beauitful old victorian house. I really love dthe staircase and the beauitful wooden banister. The features in the house the coving, ceillings are just so beautiful. That video you made was just so epic, sick and lit.
