Come join the Au team on the Doc Roger Expedition as we camp 2 Days to ultimately learn more about this mysterious character's various properties. Day 2 we are exploring to find the lost Sanitarium high on top of Unicoi Mountain.
I was born in Coker Creek and have been to the Doc Rogers house many times. I remember it had ramps leading to the upper levels instead of stairs. And there was a balcony on the front of the house overlooking the area below the mountain. My father was a friend of Doc's and I was his patient as a little girl.

This place was never a sanitarium, but it was very cool regardless. It's also right after mile marker 133 on the Benton MacKaye Trail. ~Ya can't miss it! ;)
