This Jingle and the "Come On Along" Jingle were the Two Best Ever. I think abc represented the 70s more than the other two Networks (not saying they didn't). Welcome back Kotter, Family, Charlie's Angles, Barney Miller to Saturday Morning Cartoons and School House Rock. Really Good Memories.👍🏾

Harry Marks was the man behind this. He said in an interview this whole spot only cost $60,000 to produce; mostly because it doesn’t feature any of the network stars or many graphics. They just looked for creative ways of using the number one in various places. It was meant to be more of a call to action than an actual promotional campaign. ABC didn’t start using the network talent until the next year with their “We’re the One,” campaign (and all the ones after).

Very interesting. The second Still the One campaign from two years later sent the ABC talent up in hot air balloons. I bet that was much more expensive.

"You're Still Having Fun and TV-9's the One" KMSP-TV Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota (KMSP-TV 9 lost the ABC affiliation to KSTP-TV 5, a former NBC affiliate, KMSP-TV 9 in turn, became an independent station until affiliating with FOX from 1986 to 1988, reverting back to independent status after abandoning the FOX affiliation until 1995, when it affiliated with UPN. KMSP-TV 9, now KMSP-TV 9.9/WFTC 9.1, reunited with FOX in 2002 when WFTC 29 took the UPN affiliation. WFTC 29, now sister station WFTC 9.2, is now a MyNetworkTV affiliate.)
