I am 71. Was a first responder for 16 years. Fire and rescue. I taught CPR courses for several years. I can tell this little one was paying close attention to the instructor.😊
It is so adorable, watching this tiny child/toddler doing the maneuvers for CPR. Sure she doesn’t have the strength for adequate compressions nor does she have enough lung power to give true rescue breaths, but she is very smart. I was also a CPR instructor for over 20 years and this would be a very cute video to use at the beginning of the CPR classes - - PLUS - - I believe that after watching this, the CPR students would be less tense.
I'm a 25 year nurse and I can tell you from first hand experience that kids pick this stuff up so fast. The older kids are actually better at it than some adults.
As a first aid instructor, I agree. This baby is good, but similar attempts are actually not that uncommon when I teach mothers groups & the babies are present in the classes. I also have a history of the youth group version of first aid in my country & we teach from 8 years old & the kids are almost always really good, often better than the adults. Emotional issues was always my focus, cause I found adults would freak out & leave the kids to deal with traumas inappropriately. I had one incident where the 11 year old was upset they didn't manage to complete the entire a4 paperwork page cause the parent of the injured child was too distressed. Kid had been crushed in a merry go round accident & apparently had a chunk out of their leg. I assumed exaggeration, until they told me that someone on scene had already "stuffed a teatowel into the hole" before they arrived. 1x11 year old & 1x12 year old I had trained handled that with no adult supervision, cause the adult had gone on a lunch break & left them in charge of the first aid room. I was very proud of those kids!
There are a lot of things that kids and Teens can do better than Adults, but at some point they lack the decision making skills that comes with Age and experience
Because as you go on through life, sin (I know you look at it as cringe, but fr) make you literally less human. Whether it’s your own stuff or people around you or just the world we live in. You forget what it is to be truly human.
@@drycleanernick7603 The thing is religious people view themselves as better than everybody else. It's just another ego trip. So what if people screw up in life, do stupid things, not everybody is lucky enough to be put on a good path. Some of us are born "bad to the bone" it's just how some people are.
That kinda proves it for me too. I was usually working down a lot. Then I started administering CPR upwards too and things have gotten better for me. She says I'm picking up well.
@@mahalak4383 yes, but babies pick up on it because their parents already know it. The parent says OK get the ball and the child will eventually figure out what ball is because the parents pointed out the ball or make some sort of signal showing the ball is the ball
Babies are very smart. They pick up on things very quickly. It's possible to potty train a child long before they start walking or talking too. It has been done plenty of times, successfully. My friends daughter was watching her cousin skateboard , she was no older than 2. She had to be around 1 at the time. After he got off the skateboard she walked over to it and tried to skateboard too. We held her hand while she balanced on the skateboard and pushing off with her little foot. She was great at it.
No I do watch her... How I knew early on I wasn't trippin & I don't mind cartoons from these actual days. I'll be waking up to my baby dancing, following steps & mimicking stuff. Well, I haven't taught her CPR. But I at least know for sure she understands something's. This baby is prob just imitating what she sees. I highly doubt she understands CPR. Shell prob understand clap & pt and some letters & some songs & numbers tho. Bc it's familiar...
@@ahhwe-any7434 My daughter is now 33 and tells me things she remembers when she was five. I see babies saying I love you at three months old. I know now animals and babies are more aware than we think. Of course she's imitating. That's my point. Have a nice day.
What is amazing and keaves me flabbergasted is that this cute toddler knew the sequence of the procedure! She sure has a heck of a memory and intelligence to absorb it all in such short time.
Idk man, babies are smart. When I was a baby(or very small, don't remember exactly), I knew both m native language and also English! And there's many more children who were like me.
thank god this baby wouldnt be an asian mother😂😂😂 “when i was your age i was a fully trained paremedic now look at you, you cant even score good grades”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (before anyone gets offended yea im asian and yea my mum does this except the fact that she isnt a fully trained paramedic :))
@@meepmeep1601 Trust me, it's not just Asian mommas! If I were that baby grown up, my mom would say something like, "You could do CPR as a baby, why aren't you a doctor now?
That’s kinda amazing. All she’s really doing is copying what she sees but she does it so accurate, so on point, so beat for beat that it really shows the capacity for learning that babies have.
@@danielalorbi I'm guessing you aren't a young person. I talked to some 20 somethings the other day about T. H. White and "The once and future king" which is probobly my favorite book of all time, and I believe the phrase "F^$% books" was uttered.
@@johnnymcblaze I’m 20 too. I read about 50 books a year. Would be more if I had more money but oh well. You just talked to the “wrong kind” of people.
After many years as both an advanced (ACLS) and basic life support (CPR) instructor I have to say this 10ish month-olds technique is spot on. What a very observant baby. Just a reminder to all the parents out there that "they" watch everything you do.
Still so adorable and the baby knows what to do more than billions of adults around the world 😅❤ She's probably 9-11 years old now and watching this is so adorable
What a great video, along with the reporter’s giggles, love it❣️ Having been a CPR instructor for over 20 years, I would have loved to have had this report/video (and the laughter) for the beginning of my classes - - not only because it is so very cute; but also, because I believe it would help the student attendees be less tense and stressed!!! 👍👍👏👏❣️
This.... Did _not_ warrant 840 likes in A _DAY_ But I'm glad y'all agree _holy shit I look away for like ten minutes and we're at 904 whatthehell_ _5 hours later and we're at 1178 likes and I actually laughed _*_hysterically_*
@@OstblockLatina um??? Okay? If you have a problem with an incredibly popular meme format then sorry but I don't see how trying to make me feel bad is gonna help you with that
I was feeling the same way 😊 After all they are humans too and there's no need to control their laughter if the news they are presenting at that time itself is humourous 😃
She is even holding the nose closed. Most people would forget. She is just the cutest. Edit because people are arguing about how to perform cpr in the replies: learn how to do proper cpr. It takes 5 minutes. It is honestly sad and scary how ignorant so many people are and spread misinformation in the comments. I would rather have a heart attack alone and die than have people who don't even know the breath to compression ratio then let me die
If this baby made cpr on my dead body. I would be hecking ressurected just to make this lil fella happy, because jesus christ did you seee the smile the little one has when she looks up as if looking for approval for of she did well.
Yeah it been a really long time but my little bro when he was a baby was able to copy adult behavior and speech much better than I think we older kids could.
@@CherryVodka Yes you still do CPR in RU-vid video if you Google you will see human beings with no legs and arms and even have family of your own and in relationships
Imagine her getting interviewed for a job in the future and they ask if she has any experience in first aid she can be like, "Well...I did cpr on a dummy when I was 9 months old."
Great humanity gestures from this young baby am too proud of this human being and he or she will be a great hero in this world and 2024 I would love to meet this human being.
I do love when news anchors struggle to keep their composure during these kinds of situations. Entertaining, amusing.. and terribly rare in some cases. Its such a nice breath of fresh air!
It's kind of sad these reporters can't show their emotions on air and feel the need to stifle them. Like they're expected to be mindless robots or something.
Amanda Hernandez That would not make it news but entertainment. "...wow what a tragedy. Now back to me." Grow up and get used to humorless convorsations.
Amanda Hernandez Sounds good in theory until they express happiness over the news of the first official gay marriage in Idaho or something and religious folks and homophobes get upset. Or they express happiness over news of Trump beginning plans on building the wall and liberals get upset.
ApartmentViews Yes but this situation is a *baby.* Hardly anyone gets upset about that. If they do, they are commonly looked down upon by the masses. In any case, when faced with bias and your job is to be neutral, be neutral. It's what they are trained to do. By not showing bias you are "Meh" to the audience, but they don't hate you. If you show bias then you're making the ratings go down. Now, here's the part where you gotta navigate some humane responses. If you find something cute, that you're absolutely sure the masses would agree with. You should be able to show emotion. Making yourself personable and charming is what makes people come back again to see you. Just as if you expressed sadness at the loss of a life, it shows your empathy. As long as you can act it then it's fine either way. It doesn't matter if you feel it. Give formal words, and a sorry tone. This should be practiced, to have personable actions.
The subtle chest pumps The gentle mouth kiss The looking up at mom "Am I doing it right??" The way you can tell she's mimicking from watching a CPR class JUST I CAN'T TAKE IT
