Respect to both legends,..great show....Abdullah was an UNSTOPPABLE BEAST! relentless and cruel...I was terrified of him as a kid....still no one like him to till this day
I do remember Baba but this is one of the first times I've seen him wrestle another "stiff" like abdullah. They're BOTH awful wrastlers but fuggin entertaining mate...!!!
@@jameshurtado5389 his manager Hugo would say he weighed at least 500 lb sometimes more but they listed him at 500 lb so he's pretty close to 550. And they said he was 6 ft tall not 5 ft 10 in
Poor Baba.... gigantism was horrible. The American wrestlers loved working for him in Japan as he treated them like kings with great lodging and food. He understood the value of that in business. In the ring, let's face it, he was awful. Possibly the "softest" worker ever and it showed every time. he barely touched his "opponent".
Mick Foley once mentioned in ring something about "your chops are about as soft as giant baba's". I forget who he was talking too. But those words stuck with me overtime.
A side effect of Acromegaly . His long bones grew faster and longer than his muscle and tendon . Its why you never see BABA fully extent his arm into a locked elbow . Its called " Bow and Arrow Arm"
