I have a question, you started at the feet and worked up. When I saw a training by an indian ayurvedic doctor, he started at the crown chakra and worked down. Is there a reason you do it differently? Thank you for your kind answer. He also said to wait 10 to 15 mins and let the oil "work" before the shower or bath... Interested in your thoughts. Your exact discription of HOW to massage I found most helpful, thank you!
Hello! I'm Dr. Khan & i'm an Ayurveda Specialist in Bangladesh. You can start from your head to feet & First Start from your feet. Both are the same. It depends on the Physician. Thank you.
Here I am an Indian trying to know the fulk technique 😂 we have been massages and taught to massage ourselves like this since our childhood. Due to Westernisation we didn't take care of this and started using lotions carelessly. I have been moving back to the yoga kriyas lately and they are very effective. It is sad that indians are being careless.
@@tashiagrawal1494 i haven't been much considerate about that but I prefer massaging towards body hair because that would help the hair follicles subsequently improve the skin. Massage your belly properly for digestion, chest in whichever direction you feel more relaxed, hands and body the direction of hair and rounding around too for the massage of muscles, special attention to waist, backbone and knee. The fundamental thing is to inprove the blood flow and release the muscle tension that would promote the overall health of our body and it will also help with cold problems. That's what I have researched in the past 6 months. Virgin coconut oil with a little of kapoor would be the best for body, face, hair and especially genitals.
