This sounds nothing like the first vocalist. This sounds like matti's little brother haha you should go back and re-listen to their first album. Nothing beats vladimir!!
This album is one of the most innovative and interesting Death Metal albums I believe I’ve ever heard. And yes I just said, “Death Metal.” I’m from an era when Death, Deicide, Obituary, Suffocation, Pestilence, Entombed, Pungent Stench and Disharmonic Orchestra were all about as stylistically different from one another as you can get and all just called “Death Metal.” We need to do that again.
Much as I'm sad Matti isn't on vocals, if anyone was to replace him Angel Ochoa is probably the best possible option. Larry Wang as a backup option lol.
I love how Abominable Putridity manages to be so innovative in so many years and remain a reference. Several modern Slam Death bands are so monotonous with cliche breakdowns that are so forgetful. AP not only remains innovative, but managed to surpass itself with this launch, in my opinion the best of them. Glad to hear this masterpiece.
@@MW3BOT yeah totally but so was a lot of the last album which is a huge reason I like it so much. I wish there were more slamming techdeath bands like this. Probably one of my favorite sub genres and I only know like four bands that play it lol.
"They" (presumingly you mean AP) are never coming back,. This isnt AP, it's just the drummer of AP on all instruments with the Cephalotripy vocalist using the name
I'm sad no more matti but guess he's devoting his time for his record label not even sure he has any side projects, this still slaps tho wasn't sure we were getting a new album anytime soon lol 🔨
Long awaited this fucking absolutel masterpiece. This album rapes ear drums, atleast 2021 is starting off right in the music department. Gonna blast this album loud n proud for these next few weeks to come! Abominable Putridity is one of the best slam bands in my opinion next to visceral disgorge and organectomy. OMG the fucking riff in Paroxysm is so fucking heavy i recommend if u havent heard entire album give this song a listen to by far one of my top 3 songs on this album
По истине жирнейший альбом , такую концентрацию ненависти и социопатии нужно бля поискать получается. Я очень рад что вы разродились тем , чего мы все так ждали . 10/10
The lead singer is quite nice! I’ve always loved Abominable Putridity- I got the purple and hoodie! I can’t wait to wear it in pride. Kick ass album \m/>.
This is sick yo. Great job guys y'all never disappoint, and awesome replacement on vocals. Wish we could get some new cerebral incubation, embryectomy, epicardiectomy
@@Blackprojex Ah, one of these production complainers, go listen to some black metal demos from the 90´s recorded with a toaster, thats better for you.
@@shadowedlvnar1635 so is it like a Chelsea Grin/The Faceless/Intervals situation where there was only one original member left? (until Koehler left; now there are no original members and hence the joke "this is a Chelsea Grin cover band") This is actually a thought experiment in philosophy called "the ship of theseus". If you slowly replace pieces of a ship bit by bit over the course of years, at what point is it no longer considered to be the same ship? Turns out the ship of theseus is simply the label we attribute to the pieces, and the ship is what we decide it is. If everyone left Abominable Putridity except for the drummer, then he is now the band, sadly. As long as the music is still good, I'm not too mad :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus Edit: while we're having fun thinking abstractly, you could also look at it from a legal standpoint: legally whoever owns the rights to the name "Abominable Putridity" owns the rights to decide what AP is.
This is amazing these dudes even though it's just Alex doing all the instruments is insane. Angel was the perfect replacement for Matti. AP never disappoints!!!
This album will age like wine. There were only 50 of these ever pressed on vinyl and they sound fantastic. slam kids remember this when you stumble across this. The future of this genre needs technical death riffs and breakdowns. To even mix it like it’s a rings of Saturn record you have a truly beautiful amalgamation of styles. A modern classic imo. This album stands the test of time. Groovy, tons of insane tempo changes and one of the best vocal mixes of Ochoa
@@Jez4prez1 I bought the vinyl and waited literally almost a year for it! Most people were concerned about it because the label had never really released a pressing before but it came eventually. Also their merch game is on point, they always are releasing new stuff toothat’s sick asf. I love their stuff 🤘🏼everything about it
This album rules! Not even in the same stratosphere as Anomalies though. That album is one of the greatest metal albums of all time, regardless of genre! 🤘🏽
I'm not big on Slam and I'm even less fond of Brutal Death Metal, but this ain't bad. Strange thing is without seeing the lyrics I can actually understand tiny bits of the vocals here and there. Oddly good enunciation for as low and rough as the vocals are. And the instrumentals here are honestly solid. Some interesting stuff going on. Also the album art is really cool. This gets maybe a 6/10 for me.
If you that dont like much Brutal death or slam, give a 6/10 to this, now imagine what people that knows about the genre or likes it a lot gives to this.. this album is pure 20/10 🤘🏼
I've been rocking out to Non Infinite Sequence since it came out. Now that the full album is released I'm glad to say it was worth the wait. Excellent work guys, Cheers!
Sat down and checked out this album, very good guys, keep up the technical sound, stay brutal, keep it simple and real, much love you bunch of butchers 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@Andreas-mi4li it’s heavy but the mixing is not extermination’s quality, found it less heavy than extermination ^^, they are both heavier than abominable putridity btw
@@niccii_7083 I disagree, listening through my sound system Flesh has a lot more bottom and sounds huge compared to ED. ED sounds much more compact while Flesh sounds "wider" and each instrument is more audible, can't single out the bass from ED at all. But yes they're both heavier than AP, but AP's song writing is undeniably superior.
Because they compare it to their previous album which is the epitome of slam and everything compared to it is gonna fall short. But this album is killer no doubt about it, had any other band released this everyone would praise it but since it's AP it doesn't live up to people's unrealistic expectations I guess.
@@doomhead4203 Yeah I don't think so either, this sound isn't too different though imo and I really like it so if they stick with something similar going forward I have no complaints. Still beats every other slam band out there by a long shot imo.
There's drums, vocals, bass, and guitar and it's using the AP name. So it's AP. Idc if it's not the full band lmao. Do you know how many slam bands produce their music on a desktop?
People hating on AP for being "Core Slam" bruh. I listened to them when only their 1st album was out, so raw. They got me into Slam, they GET to make clean albums. This shit is beautiful, Matti Way of Pathology and Disgorge doing vocals (I think for this album), great Russian Slam, boarder line technical the older they get. They are on par wit Devourment for sure, in my top 3.
yer they sound nothing like core slam, think I only saw one idiot below suggest something along those lines anyway. Not a view with any credence. This album instead sounds like a combo of the golden era of slam (Angel on vocals helps with that) mixed with brutal death metal if anything. This album is an instant classic in my opinion at least. The mixing on this album is very good btw, their technically best yet, but def mixed more on brutal death metal lines or so.
