Feel good vibes today, so close to 300k subs in less then a year... games actually getting better! what a year. love you all! Live later tonight here: www.twitch.tv/darthmicrotransaction
You provide good videos with easy to digest informative info given in a straight forward way with a fair opinion/preference on the side. Keep being you and do what you want. Don't feel beholden to any one thing. Just keep creating your videos, and I'll keep watching. Gg bro
I miss taking my javazon into the cow level and watching the screen turn white and everyone with a bad computer or connection drop off as all the shots duplicate and cascade around a screen and a half away. :)
It's almost 1 year already? I like your channel. I came here mostly for Diablo IV info and you go straight to the point. There is up and down, but I think you're doing great handling it. I'm glad I found your channel. Also I really like the idea you can interview with the Devs. I understand the Devs are busy, they probably don't have time to read and respond to every player's comments. It's very frustrating for everyone, we want to improve the game that we love but our voice doesn't reach them. Then you came in as the middle ground, sort out the good questions that will reach the Dev attention and not wasting their time. It's a Win-Win for everyone. Thank you for doing it. I hope you guys do it again from time to time.
Your videos are what's singlehandedly kept me in the loop about d4 since I quit after season 1, and now I'm about to boot up season 4 and am genuinely excited for it
Never ever joined a Diablo Season, always stayed in eternal realm. But season 4 is great. For me, because of helltides with the new bossfights there. All people will see some alarm sign on the map and try to kill the boss. In just two evenings of playing I went from 0 > lvl 60. New loot systems are improved
Great show May 20. Congrats on subscribing 299,295 minions. I enjoy the BS Free explanations of some pretty complex Diablo IV Season 4 machinations. I’m a 78 YO gamer and was an original Dreamcast/Atari 400 sword slinger. My wife has finally decided that I’m not going to give it up. Appreciate your channel covers. Archie ( Necromancer Archmagge )
Good job, you deserve it. You've been my main and only channel to go for D4 news and even through the awful seasons I quit and thought you might quit as well, finally things turned around for Season 4. Keep going strong brother
Congrats man! I really like your philosophy of content as solutions. For me the big issue I have with tempering is I often can't use all of my tries. If I hit the right stat out of 3 and the right other stat out of three with 2 tempers left I am done even if the rolls are not great because the chances of bricking the item are too great to risk it. I am fine with the idea of bricking an item, but if I did get the roll I needed and just want to try for a better version, I wish they allowed us to choose to keep or to take the new roll.
My man, you deserve all the subscribers and more. We love the content, the presentations, the concise factual presentations and articulated critiques. Anyway congrats on the milestones and here's to many more.
Grats on cracking 300k subs mate looking forward to watching more videos doesnt matter what game you cover you always do so with a straightforward level headed approach its refreshing.
So when it comes to the temper reroll... that is key to me. 1. There are manuals that have competing affixs. Damage to close and damage to distant. If I roll the wrong one the peice is bricked. Not just less useable but BRICKED. 2. Unlike other rolling mechanics I can't KEEP the old roll if the new one is bad. I had to stop playing last night when REPEATED items rolled the distant damage spec bricking my arms. 3. Each AFFIX should have it's own (I vote 5 each) number of rolls so if you DO get the one roll you want on one affix you aren't left with 1-2 attempts on the second. 4. Resetting gear is needed. Rather than have a new currancy... let's have an NPC at the end of a suffiently high enough pit that can reroll gear for you. Remember rolling up gems at the end of a GR in D3? Like that.
It blows my mind how you can roll the same thing not only multiple times in a row but literally the entirety of the tempers for the whole item(For instance I just bricked an immaculate helmet looking for Tendrils or decripify size 2 goddamn things! and it literally rolled corpse explosion 5 fucking times in a row. Outrageous levels of bullshit). It only gets worse with ancestrals since you are pulling from the same limit of 5 rolls but trying to get 2 things now... system is trash IMHO. At the very least it shouldn't be allowed to roll the exact same thing multiple times so you at least have the shot of getting ONE of the things you need on an ancestral.
Excellent video...as always. 😃 I really enjoy the videos you put together along with the reasonable ideas for game improvement. Congrats on 300K! Awesome accomplishment.
Man I found you early on, I don't comment often cause I don't do too many YT Comments but love your content. So happy for you blowing up like this. It makes me want to take the risk on pumping time into a youtube channel myself sometimes lol. Your idea about the temper reroll item/currency is actually super good, I hope Blizz sees this and steals your idea lmao
Seeing you cheerful and able to enjoy the game is so wonderful. It's hard making content for a game that so clearly needed work and now you have a few weeks to just enjoy as fun game and I feel like it shows. Love you
This just popped up as a recommendation, nice to see you still going. I played D-IV for 6 months then went back to immortal and gave the console and game to my granddaughter. Keep going kiddo was nice to drop in again.
Love your vids man! Even though I never played Diablo I like listening to you analyzing games. Amazing what you did in just a year! Keep going and well done!!!
Tempering and being able to fail to get what you want to have is the best change they did to itemization. The amount of good items you find is still huge, getting 3 good affixes on your items with being able to reroll one is not difficult nor does it take long. If tempering was now a safe thing to do we would be exactly where we were before. Full gearing just a few hours after going to WT4 and having nothing to grind for. If anything I would love to see more of this instead less.
They did real good making the legendary codex and no one hates it. You only get improvements through that system, and you don't get burned. Tempering should be done in the same way. No RNG roll for the specific temper, just let us pick it. Have the multiple tempering rolls improve the base RNG, not shuffle it, then have those cost more each roll.
I saw the tempering and master working as very minor upgrades anyway. Once you can clear level 100 content with your T4 gear the progression is just icing on the cake. I've been capable of doing most content in the game at level 80 on a double swing barb using my own build, no guide. The loot feels kind of dull to me personally. In D2 and PoE there's more of a progression as you get richer you can make huge jumps in item power
congrats dude you have been a pillar in the community always appreciated your honest and entertaining commentary. you deserve all the recognition you have gotten keep it up!
My take on how to improve tempering: (1) give tempering a "lucky hit" chance that makes the attempt free (doesn't reduce the tempering capacity); and (2) each greater affix adds 1 to the max tempering capacity. So a triple greater affix that has the potential to be really awesome now also gets 8 attempts plus lucky hit chance.
I know a core issue that needs to be addressed. Click to move, there isnt enough skill slots to be able to have click to move on left click so even if you put a skill with a long cd that you want up all the time on left click, you still stutter then you accidently click on enemies when moving.
Hey side bar question, is there a site/resource where I can input a character skill name and it spits out which aspects/gear are related to it or offer synergies. Im trying to put a build together for the mrs based on what she likes and not whats meta. Purley her enjoyment.
Wish I could sub twice man. You're the best thing to come out of Diablo 4 lol. I enjoy all your content and I really hope you do more and different game coverage going forward. Although I'm not usually a twitch guy I try to drop in whenever I remember and give you my Prime sub. Thanks for everything!
Love the vid and agree with every bit of it. On the 4th 8th and 12th masterwork we should be able to get 2 more temper rerolls. I have ended up losing out of max roll tempers on other items because I can't reroll the greater affix gear temper I have that's at a min roll. It would also force you to really commit to each 4th masterwork while having to decide to wait for other better gear.
used to only catch your D4 breakdowns through Asmond, with season 4 i decided to check you out directly, i didnt want to wait for Zach to put out a reaction anymore with the state of season 4 being so good right now. keep doing what youre doing man! im sure there will be a game you can farm videos for outside of just D4. congrats on the 300K!!
I've more or less dropped D4. I might come back in the future and check it out again, but right now I have plenty of other games that I would rather be playing. That being said, I've followed you since around 15k or so and I continue to follow you for your general game info. You've turned me onto a few awesome games and I appreciate your mindset and the way you explain things.
Seriously, you're my fave D4 content guy, always great analysis. The husband and I are definitely enjoying this season WAY more than 3. And thank you for providing the insight you do!
I just subbed and watched the count turn to 300k congrats @DarthMicrotransaction! Been watching your vids since the og SWGOH days thanks so much for all the honest opinions over the years!
I feel the same way. I want there to be a way to either reset tempers or add one more with some sort of item/currency that isn’t stupidly incredibly rare, but kinda rare. Perhaps combined together with other items we already have in the game and/or gold via the blacksmith. They also need to do something to prevent matching re-rolls on a temper several times in a row. I know the game is RnG, but they need to do something to prevent bricking and potentially pushing players away in frustration when it happens.
