using examples at the end was super useful. Thanks for your suggestions. Going to see if I can still record skateboarding at night (which is tough because you don't want too much motion blur but you still need to let the light in).

The only thing you didnt demonstrate is how un-usable the HyperSmooth is below shutter speeds of 1/120.

Thnaks for this. I'm struggling to get decent footage out and about in the UK, over cast lighting. :¬( Hopefully some tweaks I've made now from watching this will help. I couldn't go up from 1080 though as my laptop can't cope with that, unfortuately. I was too scared to go up to GoPro colour though! 🤣 tried it once and just... ohh... no...

Aloha~ i am still trying to figure out what would be best setting for my gp9 and gp10 low light night shootings like night time parades or night/early morning drive video scenes ...so far i have tested/ tried many different settings but i guess low light/night scenes are not for gopros.the outcome is alwsy Too Dark or Too Noisy if its bright...i still do not know what is best setting yet?... i have decided not to spend anymore money with gopros i am searching other device to replace my GPS 9 and 10. sad

Have you tried recording at low light at 240fps 1/240 (for better stabilization), and then converting the video to 24fps 1/24 using frame blending (to reduce noise)?
