Your channel is outstanding! We have been watching you fish for one year. We really appreciate the fishing, the description of the baits you are using, and the identification of the locations that you are fishing.
I'll be down in May for 7 day vacation. Was going to order a couple of rods and reels. I already have a few and ruined a few past 2 years I came down. Saltwater is tough on them. I'm wanting to order the penn slammer 3 10500 for sharks but not sure what rod to pair it with will be fishing from beach, peir, and my kayak. I'm also wanting to get the slammer 4 6500dx to just regular fish but worried it might be little to big wanting to go after red & black drum maybe a tarpon if I'm lucky enough. Any advice is appreciated on either setup and great video
I had a spinfisher 10500 and it was just too big for me. All my shark cast out rigs are 7000 size reels, they have enough drag for medium size sharks but are small enough to cast normally. A lot of it is just personal preference. Good luck.
Do you happen to know where I can get one of those RC boats to drop off shark baits? I see some on Amazon but it seems like the one you guys used was perfect!
The best beach to fish is the one with the least amount of people. Less people in water means less chance of cruising fish getting spooked. Might’ve been a typo but what did you mean by “what ride do I prefer?”
Have you ever used clam flavored fish bites? We placed a order and got a bag by mistake instead of sand flea flavor. We’re heading down to pcb next weekend and I’ll be trying to catch something.
Redfish can be found in the surf almost year round. The pompano run should be starting in late March. Snook are not native to this area, the water gets to cold in winter, but usually seems that once a year someone catches a straggler.
Is this Panama in Florida or the country Panama? Ive immigrated to Panama and was hoping if anyone can help on where I can fish off the beach? I've been to Gorgona once and no luck as yet, any help will be great thank you
That is actually my cast out setup for sharks but you could take wire leader off and use it for bull reds. It’s a penn slammerIII 7500 on a penn battalion 12’ heavy surf rod.
Well. I'm just a poor boy from ky. No expensive boats or kayak. I do have a 12 foot rod and 50# line with some steel leaders tho, let's see what happens
