The scream I scrumpt when I saw Ehwa was probably heard by everyone in a 5 mile radius. Great to see that they have all of Trustworthy Room lined up and ready. Also Prince got a major upgrade in anime form. He went from sorta stubby kid to looking like a more grown teenager. Can't wait to see him and Miseng's relationship

The thing that surprises me is that we see the characters in multiple outfits when all these scenes are probably in just the first few episodes, leads me to believe that a certain outfit won't be skipped lol

I saw it posted on Twitter minutes after it came out thinking the song just got released ahead of the anime and then to my surprise I was met with a full blown trailer

after about a year of "oh my god they're gonna fumble season 2 aren't they" it in fact looks like we are more so back than previously perceived. i think there's definitely reason to be excited, looks like they're approaching it with care this go around (to be transparent, anime season 1 was how i got into the series in the first place only to find out how much they changed later).

The opening was peak and the animation looked incredible. I liked S1's opening, And it worked for that season, but it wasn’t out of this world. They really went above and beyond for this season. It's good to see TOG getting the same treatment as these other big shows like JJK and demon slayer, it deserves it.

the scene where Endorsi is looking down in season 1 outfit is I think a confirmation that they will repair their relationship using flashback I guess but its great that they will fix mistakes for season 1

So, my immediate thoughts about the trailer are with the song and Ewha's eyes and they aren't the most positive... I'll start with the song though If the song was for workshop battle, then I would enjoy it a lot more but because it's for return of the prince it really doesn't feel like it fits, that may just be me but with the op for season one it just fit the atmosphere of Tog so well meanwhile the s2 op sounds more like it's for a basic action anime. Ig it's just missing that hint of mystery and charm the s1 op had for me Now Ewha, this is just a very small knit pick on my part but I was just expecting her eyes or just the eyes of a pure blood yeon to have a bit of shine or glow to them other then their pretty color That's all I have to say though, everything looked good and I'm happy we have something of a full trailer, cool to see Augustus in the trailer as well wasn't expecting that, just odd that they didn't show this as some big reveal during the IGN stream

New to ToF, just watched the 1st season since I saw the 2nd season coming out. Sounds like you are familiar with more than just the anime. Not looking for any big spoilers but length wise do you think we'll see the 77th floor/bam get the wing pendant in season 2? The trailer/openers just mention picking up on floor 20 which doesn't sound very far up. I thought they ended higher than that in season 1 but they didn't keep track of floors regularly. I don't know that they ever actually mentioned how many there even are.

Before you come for me, I 100% understand why the change occurs and I'm happy the show still looks amazing, but... I am lowkey sad that they essentially completely eliminated the art style from S1. That flat coloring that they used early on is EASILY what set ToG apart from other anime and I will 100% miss it 😢😢 But I am still incredibly excited for this season and can't wait for July 7th!
