This is such a good rinseless wash product. One of the best available currently. The scent is coconut lime, although it isn’t super strong I can smell the coconut when I use it.

diy rinsless is far superior compare to absolute i have 4 different rinsless from different companies and diy rinsless is the winner by far

Sir, if you read the information on the back of the bottle it states that it has a coconut scent.
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip

Definitely didn’t smell like coconut. More like a cleaner smell, although I think it was a bad batch. I bought a case of gallons and it smells a lot more like coconut

Per a video on P&S's site, they say the cap on the Absolute bottle is slightly less than 1/2 oz. Therefore they recommend a "heaping" capful for each gallon of water. I think your dilution ratio was very close though. I just use a measuring cup to take all the guess work out of it.
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Год назад
That would definitely be preferred! I wonder why they did it as “just under” a 1/2 oz per cap… most companies just have their caps as 1/2 oz. Unless there’s something we don’t know 🤷‍♂️

@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip I know a lot of companies struggled with supply chain issues. Maybe they just used what they could get.

For rinseless, I’ve used them all. Well … all that I know of, anyway. The new formula of OnR is still boss imo. None of the others outperform OnR in any meaningful way. 1/2 ounce per gallon is just nuts.
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Год назад
It’s been a while since I’ve used ONR, seems like it’s time to go give it a try! In a couple years when I’m out of Absolute that is lol
@Reaper-Jim
@Reaper-Jim Год назад
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip You must not have a lot of volume to have Absolute last that long. I go through a gallon of OnR about every 8-12 months. EDIT: Of course, I use OnR for a lot of different things other than rinseless wash.

I’ve been transitioning from doing mostly express details to a good blend of express and in depth… Also I hardly ever use Rinseless wash products unless it’s a certain circumstance. (Rain, garage detail)
@Reaper-Jim
@Reaper-Jim Год назад
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip I don’t know what express or in depth means for you. My norm = maintenance details. I do not accept filthy vehicles … ever. Maintenance, for me, means wash exterior, clean n vac interior, dressings and protection. I’m not, typically, doing upholstery or engine bay detailing or anything like that. “express” indicates quick or fast … my details are usually well under 2 hours.
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip
@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Год назад
I think you and I have the same definition of express. I throw in a spray wax but it’s just because there are towel streaks from the drying process. Filthy vehicle have to be addressed differently which I think you and I see eye to eye on

@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip yes it's interesting but it's the truth try stirring it slowly next time you will see the difference though i am not a fan of it. i don't think i'll use rest of my bottle. DIY details green apple rinsless wash is far superior product also mix of polymers and surfactants is a unique formula and works awesome. it is by far my most loved chemical in the current arsenal because it's so versitile to use and does it's job like a charm

lol … the power of suggestion. Absolute doesn’t clean any better or worse than DIY Rinseless. In fact, I’d argue Absolute is slightly slicker while in use. Both products don’t clean any better than OnR but require 1 ounce per gallon instead of 1/2 ounce … which makes OnR the winner. But … Pick one that suits you. None of them are bad, even the ones that are basically thinned down soap. Remember, it’s usually technique that causes damage not the products.

Absolute is amazing. It smells great and is way slicker than DIY. I use this stuff a ton. DIY makes a good rinseless too. I use absolute everyday.

@@Reaper-Jim diy Rinseless is 1/2 oz to a gallon.
@Reaper-Jim
@Reaper-Jim Год назад
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 So does Absolute. I guess I was in error on that. Read your labels dumb dumb, lol. Regardless, OnR is averaging roughly $35-$38 a gallon. P&S and DIY are not. The main point, use what serves you best. My choice is based on what gives me the most profit while remaining effective.
