If I had a time machine I'd hit everyone of their concerts, then go to the far future and see if they can fix my hearing so I could go and do it all over again!
Bon's desparate and painful plea screaming at me while the six string wails the forsaken cries of the defeated us the epitome of why bad love must be warned about. my all time fav from acdc.
Could not agree more. My parents introduced me to them when I was a baby. Since then I just fucking loved these guys. Always have and will. If I ever decide to have kids they will definitely know who these guys are and were. And what impact they’ve had on their mothers life.
this song is amazing... i never heard it live... is more awesome than in studio... damn today i knew that they're coming to Chile, i hope they've play this song
Dammit man. I've been missing out for years on this one. The fukn joy of discovery. As excited as I was when I found the live video of "Dreamer/Deceiver" by Preist earlier this year. From the '70s also.
Bon Scott's songs are still by far the best. This live performance is in the rang of their Apollo theatre live performances. Soul stripper among their bests.
“Soul Stripper” is my favorite AC/DC song. Second favorite? “Squealer”. Two underrated songs that’s not on anyone’s list of favorites. Most people, even fans, haven’t heard of either one. This song ( and “Squealer”) has Mark Evans on bass guitar, not Cliff Williams. When live music at a concert sounds like the album you have true musicians instead of session musicians.
Awesome. Put on a pair of headphones, brace yourself, and prepare to be transported into Rock n Roll heaven. One of the greatest bands of all time. Without question!
@@Bluesrock1815 I've been having ear pain really bad for the last 7 months, this on top of decades of ear probs. But I swear the past few weeks I've been strapping on my cans and blasting AC/DC Motorhead... heavy loud fast and hard!!!!!!!! It's honestly been helping... shakes all the glop loose, and it's better than snorting cayenne pepper powder!
It is a lot about the bass line!! , but sadly they have veered away from any real bass line wi current albumns, disproving my point, but hell put a bass in
And so, I was there when ac/dc first kicked off doing pubs in australia, then concerts then they soon exploded across the world of course. Bon was something else😉
Great pics of the biggest band in the world... In this version, only Angus plays the solo, on the album Malcolm starts it, and they change every second beat. One of my favourite songs.
This among many other AC/DC songs has to be my fav ones! I remember my mom telling me a cool story about her first time hearing AC/DC, she’s Scottish like they are and she said she played Malcolm as a kid (no joke) soccer (USA and I think Canada) or foot ball (in Scotland and the UK I think they call it that) and she said she remembers doing some miscellaneous stuff with Angus lol she said he was cool guy and truly was. Problem child. Lol. Gotta love him!
5:35 pic at the legendary Marquee in London where this was apparently recorded :) fantastic sound quality I want the whole show does anyone know how to get it? Someone below posted that this was 26th July '76 which is when they had been in England about 3 months and were really making their mark. They played a run of 10 nights at the venue with the owner saying they were the best band he had hosted there since the early days of Zeppelin many years before. Awesome!

Ya know who played raunchy and raw.... obviously different than AC But... Johnny Van Zant Band in a smoky club in the mid 80s... Im a Fighter... my face shows my game.... JVZ has some really rocking tunes...and some melodic tunes Dunno why i thought of JVZ.... Never saw Bon... but JVZ just brought a raw power that reminded me.... Thanks folks.... rock on....
Interview in 75. Angus was asked what it felt like to be considered one of the best guitarists. He humbly said "I'm not even the best in my family "Your fans thoughts are with you Malcolm.Get Well

saw AC/DC in 79...Highway To Hell tour...makes me old i guess but that was an awesome show and night.....glad i was there ...wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere eles ...RIP Bon Scott!
1980 was a bad year for rock-n-roll. It started with Bon’s death and then “Bonzo” Bonham from Zeppelin and the year ended with the murder of John Lennon. I’m 56 now. I was 15 in 80. I played in bands and Bon’s death just gutted me. Each generation has that one musical hero they look up to and for me Bon was it and still is.⚡️⚡️⚡️
@@grimmsleeper9475 If you were a Bon Scott fan it was crushing, because he was one of a kind, and those of us who were really into AC/DC in the US at that time were still few and far between, and so we tended to heavily identify with the band, because we were outliers, basically. And most of us identified with Bon in particular, because of the vocals and the lyrics being so unique, and his personality that came through in the songs. After his death I was in a deep depression for a while. Not seriously, like clinical depression, but it was a few degrees this side of losing a schoolmate or maybe someone maybe in your extended family. Because I always wanted to sound like him on vocals, and like Malcolm on guitar. Years later people told me I sounded a lot like Bon, so perhaps I succeeded. The mass popularity of AC/DC after Bon died was sort of a bitter pill to swallow, though. After a while I got back into the swing of things, I think Brian did a great job, and fit the band really well.
fakk where is that picture of angus from 77 lack ofteeth an t shirt sayin my mom went to california and all she left was this t shirt ,the poster i really miss from my youth
ommmmgggg I had never seen this video thank you you tube it's awesome we take full view for no penny lol I will save it to the pc I don't regret having bought the license to convert YT videos
Wow... I remember listening to this broadcast live back in the 80's. It was on a TV show called "The Beat" on local Detroit TV. Doug Podel was one of the biggest DJ's back in the 80s. I remember him on WLLZ,... Detroits Wheels!
Bon Scott and Chuck Berry , the two greatest Rock n Roll poets in Rock n Roll history . Not many could match them as showmen either . Bon tips it in my opinion . That cheeky , dirty little voice of his was every bit as crucial to the sound of AC/DC as Angus’s feral and savage guitar sound was . RIP Bon .

Well, I met her in the garden Underneath that old apple tree Sitting with a handful of flowers Looking as cool as can be We talked away a couple of hours Then she laid her hand on my lap Oh, I thought I got to be dreaming I didn't know I fell in her trap CHORUS: Then she made me say things I didn't want to say Then she made me play games I didn't want to play She was a soul stripper, she took my heart Soul stripper, and tore me apart She started moving nice and easy Slowly getting into my spine Killing off this nice little feeling Ooooh, everyone she could find And when she had me hollow and naked That's when she put me down Pulled out a knife and flashed it before me Stuck it in and turned it around
I doubt he said that '74 Jailbreak isn't even an album more of an EP put out about 8 years after the song was recorded with a few early leftovers from the original Australian edition of High Voltage thrown in because the American label were stupid enough to cut Jailbreak from Dirty Deeds when they released it 5 years late anyway to cash in and rejected most of High Voltage the idiots :/
I have to give acdc credit. I went to a college bar 2020. I played soul stripper and then whitesnake "Slow-nEasy. I promise these college people woke up. I had several people come over and ask me the name of song and the singer.
I have always loved this tune! I remember this only being on my HIGH VOLTAIRE import album! Could be wrong, I was very stoned in those days!! But again, ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE AC/DC tunes!!
