Ac leaking water on floor fix - LG portable air conditioner 

I have a completely different model, but I did what you said and saw if its just slightly off level... and it was. I put something under it and made it level and the leaking stopped! 🙌 thankyou!

I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

We have the same air conditioner having the same problem… and also have cats that clogged up our filters, that i didn’t keep up with cleaning as much as i should have… (Mom was sick and passed, etc).. I appreciate you showing this.. much too complicated for me to fix and I’ve had it for 8 yrs.. I think i will buy a new one and make sure i take better care of it…. Ugh… money i don’t have but i don’t have one of you around lol..

Thanks for posting this video. We have the identical unit. It started shutting off all the time. Wife had placed it on a wheeled dolly and it was not level. I bought this used awhile back. The air output while ice cold is not overly powerful so was wondering if that internal cover you removed may be clogged up. Anyway, thanks again.

2024 - still saving lives. Exact same unit, exact same problem. Poured chemicals in the little hole - still clogged. Hit it with compressed air and hallelujah.

Mine leaked a small amount of water at the bottom recently in very high humidity and dew point levels. I have a newer portable a/c which is self-evaporating. Well as I went to pick the thing up and put it onto a pan, the hose disconnected from the back of the unit! It must have not been on there securely. After turning off the unit and re-affixing the hose all was well again and no leaking in the same weather conditions. Those accordion-like hoses even on these newer models can be tricky. And after weeks of moving it around here and there to clean around it, it must have loosened which caused the slight leak. I now keep a weight in front of the unit to keep it from moving around, giving it less of a chance to stretch out the hose and cause it to loosen. No leaking and just a very small amount of condensation at the top of the vent now.

I'm in Michigan. Won't drain a single cup for months, then there will be a week where I'm draining 8 cups every few hours. I seriously need to find a way to elevate it and just have a bucket to drain in

Just so u know u can take out second filter without taking it apart. Once u take out first one u see a finger Grove on the bottom side location just pull it out. Thx for video I need to clean my coils from 10 pounds of dog hair I bet.

I took mine apart cleaned all the dust it leaks off the top thing just like this guys and i have a different model i ran it outside and think i have possibly fixed the problem i will put it inside and run it when i need to on a hot evening when i go to sleep and see what happens.
