Use moonshine active ability and it will go right through portals but will still bounce of shields so you can replace 1 20mm with a cannon and fire that first which will disable the shield
Are there other types of accelerator? This one is already amazing but you sounded, like there could be more. Also love the instant decimation of the enemy fort.
This is the easiest standard accelerator to make, check this video for the stackinator which is a cross between an accel and a mortar: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R0Y0VuIBdRQ.html
the funny counter to this is someone who sticks a "return to sender" 3-4 deep in their base where it can't be seen sacraficing a few blocks of armor both way but... making them deep enough not to get emp'ed or such. so when you let loose with the shot, it comes back out the front of their base hits just above your portal... or just below it... and rips your own base in half... i've seen that done
Moonshine 20mms disable portals so return to senders don't work, however they still bounce off of shields but usually destroy the shield by over stressing it and one cannon in the accel + the 20s will be unstoppable.
@@roborogue_ rethink that for a second... so 20mm disable portals... but you need portals to make accelerators... meaning the 20mm's would disable the accelerators and blow up your own base.
@@jenniferstewarts4851 no you don’t understand. Moonshine active ability gives your own heavy weapons the ability to EMP the enemy on hit. i guess you haven’t played MS, you should it’s fun
your weapons are too close to the entry portal. they need to be far enough away that they’d be able to shoot yourself. the game does a check of a certain distance and doesn’t allow you to shoot yourself.
No actually. 20mm cannons do more damage total but that usually isn’t noticeable since their inaccuracy spreads out the damage over a wide area. With the accelerator, all shots hit the same place meaning that 20mms actually do more damage than a cannon.
