Existence is related to ontology; It is, generally speaking, deductive in nature, general to particular in direction; the opposite of the inductive procedure. You’re absolutely correct. Theists need to stop using information they don’t fully comprehend to try and establish a reason for belief, both for themselves and others. It’s evident that this is a way to cope with the lack of empirical evidence and to perpetuate indoctrinated hope, providing comfort until the end of their lives. No field of science sets out to prove the existence of gods. To date, no scientific discipline has established empirical evidence supporting the existence of deities. The scientific method does not provide a framework for proving or disproving the existence of gods. Additionally, quantum physics does not pertain to the concept of gods; it neither provides evidence for nor operates based on the existence of a deity.

If anything in quantum physics suggested that a god existed why aren't I hearing that from quantum physicists? Why am I hearing it from some guy who doesn't understand quantum physics? Please cite the papers in physics journals that discuss how god is suggested by quantum physics. Infinity doesn't exist as an amount and physicists would be the first people to tell him that when the math results in infinity they know there is something wrong being put into that math.

I have found god AT LAST! God is blue because if it is not blue it can't be god. The sky is blue, so therefore the sky is god. We have been looking for god IN the sky, but we were getting it wrong. Lets take something like greek mythology. It has a ton of gods who all do different things and therefore cant be infinite. Thats more beivable even if its really is just mythology, you could even say that the things they reign over are proof of their existance if you really felt it was true. But it'd still be false, its just your personal belief in like Zues or Poseidon. Now we have christianity, an infinite being who made everything and predestined our whole lives all on his own, far less beleivable. It's a lot easier to praise demeter for a good harvest then say anything in the bible is accurate. This dude. Could have revealed himself at any time olin person if he really wanted us to know was real. But he hides it, on purpose apparently and his followers are okay with that. As ridiculous as it sounds its more sane to curse Zeus for striking you with lightning then it is to thank god for curing your cancer. One has atleast some correlation from mythology...

I can’t accept the premise without my questions answered first. Under your thought process you owe me $100,000 pay me first ask the questions later. Can’t you see how crazy that is. His god attributes / characteristics are undemonstrated, unsupported unsubstantiated bald assertions / assumptions and even admitted his argument fails. He is literally building a deity based on his preconceptions and looking for anything to affirm them. Calling this hokum intuitive reasoning makes the whole thing even more incoherent and nonsensical than when he started. Every god relies on the human asserting it to explain it define it and prove it. Without that human agent the god disappears and ceases to exist how can they not see that? Just another theist building his argument from material harvested from fallacy forest……..NEXT!

I want to be clear. Do you think his argument still fits the categories you've outlined? What theists do not seem to understand is that God (whatever that is) is irrelevant, and here's why: In this instant, either God exists, or he doesn't. And, regardless of which we might decide is the case, the entire rest of the Universe remains exactly the same. Apart from satisfying idle curiosity, even knowing whether or not God exists is completely irrelevant to our lives. Either there is a God who created the Universe in all of its intricate detail, including a complete lack of evidence that he even exists (implying that he created the Universe to be fully self sufficient, not requiring any influence or maintenance on his part), or there is no God involved in the creation of the Universe. Regardless of which is the case, we are still left with the task of reconciling ourselves to the same Universe. "God" changes nothing.

Ralph appears to be clumsily describing a concept of God that is an impersonal state of pure existence similar to what Deepak Chopra might promote.
