oh thank you. My mom has become fully blind and lives at a nursing home (I really nice one) but it is hard to figure out what to do. We do find Trivial Pursuit (for her generation), works well, but I didn't even think playing cards!
The only issue is if you can see the Braille on the opposite side. If so cheating would be possible. (Not saying we should cheat against blind people just mentioning something that could happen)
My mom was blind as well as being a teacher for the blind! We had one of those Scrabble boards and loved to play! All of our decks of cards were Brailled and it used to feel weird to use a deck that wasn’t! Mom has been gone for 20 years, but the things on this channel take me right back to the things she used and used in her classroom!! Thank you!!
But s tactile popit doasn't make sence.....well an extra tactile one doasn't since it is allready made specifically for that. To have something tactile.
@@davidmartin5483 Yep, pretty much. I'm sure there are loads of ways it could be used as a teaching tool. One way I thought of is you practice reading the Braille letters, and ones that you feel confident in, you pop that letter. So as you get more confident, you get to pop more letters. Idk, seems like it might motivate some people to practice reading Braille. 🤷♀️
@@keepcalmproductions seems like an intresting way of learning it. Not only for those with visual disability but also those who want to learn it. It is a way of showing how tactile stimulation can also be a way of enjoying life for those who cannot imagine how one with visual dissability can live life. Especially for those who have gotten the diagnosis of gradual visual impairment up to the point of full blindness.
