All depends on personal preference. I had the opportunity to test drive all 3, and I purchased the Camry XLE V6 especially after hearing 301 HP. Not to mention Toyota gave me an awesome deal free maintenance and free extended warranty with no charge. Team Toyota 👍🏿👍🏿

I drive a 98 Accord V6 and I absolutely love the simplicity of it. But I actually love the 2018-2019 Accord's looks. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so if you think it's ugly...that's fine. It's a beautiful car in my opinion and when the time comes for my 98 to go, I will definitely be getting a 2.0T 6 speed. Both the Camry and Altima are beautiful cars as well, even in their base models, but when it comes down to deciding which car is the best, I think it's just a matter of opinion and loyalty to a specific brand.

@saxopio6280
@saxopio6280 5 лет назад
Yea but the display screen graphics, reaction time, and functionality are very important especially when automakers are making it so that some settings and features can only be accessed via the touch screen. Personal story: I had a 2003 Infiniti M45 for 3 years with a (non-touch screen) display that felt like it was designed in hell by Satan himself. After living with the very confusing user interface that sometimes required cycling through multiple menus and/or buttons to do something that should have been simple (like adjusting an HVAC setting), and that did not save certain selections upon turning off the car, I decided I couldn’t take it anymore and got a new car with a more user-friendly set up. After such an experience, I will NEVER purchase another car with a display screen without renting said car first and extensively testing out how well the display user interface works. So yes, the display screen can be a deal breaker all in itself. BTW, remember how much flak Acura/Honda received for their dreadfully piss-poor two-tier screen displays on recent models?

As it was explained in the video, all of these cars were pointed very closely. It's the features and the comfort that matter most when people are shopping for brand new cars. You can argue on the front of reliability but i'm sure nobody's biting their nails wondering if any of these 3 cars won't last them at least 5 years if they need it to. The screen and its functions are the centerpiece of every car and the importance increases because at the end of the day these are family sedans that're meant to accommodate up to 5 people with comfort and entertainment for the road. If someone were rating a Mustang on its infotainment screen then of course you'd have a case in your favor. But these things really matter to consumers of these vehicles, if they didn't, we wouldn't have screens at all. While looks are subjective, the Camry's is very clearly the hardest to swallow, even just the LE trims. The Altima would have my vote on best looking exterior and the Honda has a much better interior than both of the other two... probably because Honda doesn't HAVE a higher tier sedan they need to protect, like Nissan's Maxima and Toyota's Avalon. Nissan has the best tech of the 3, and the Camry has the best (feeling) power because it can have a V6. Which one you buy is up to you. Altima beat the Camry when I was shopping for my next car, so this video fits what I also found out for myself. Unless you drive all 3 of them you've got to be mindful of everything

@Soh90
@Soh90 5 лет назад
Lol someone else said it, the same guy that liked the Accord’s heavy feel liked the light feel of the Altima. What’s even more strange is that the Accord is actually the lightest car here. I don’t know about the Altima, but I do know that the Camry drives far better than the jittery Accord with its twitchy steering. I also know that the Camry’s interior uses far better material than the Accord. In closing, the Camry came in last because it drives nice but Camry buyers don’t care about a car that drives nice?? (What the heck does that even mean??). And you docked points for the infotainment system while testing the older version of the system as the new system have Apple Car Play and Alexa. Also, I don’t know if many know, but Toyota’s “dated” graphics can be changed by simply changing the theme of the display in the settings menu. That’s simply the default theme, the other themes are nicer. I also don’t think it’s fair that the guy complaining about leg room is on the bigger side, I’m not trying to be rude, but nit every car will fit everyone. The Camry will fit most 4 adults comfortably. Besides, the Accord has no headroom and I would happily trade 2” of legroom for a more upright greenhouse and more headroom. Also, docking points for interior design is so arbitrary! You think The Accord looks good? I think both the Accord and Altima look like pseudo Audi designs. I give the Camry 5 points for sheer originality. 1 Camry 2 Altima 3 Accord

And sales numbers are not indicative of how good or bad a car is because a lot of people in this segment simply want an appliance to go from Point A to B. A lot of really excellent cars have not been sales leaders at all, look up automotive history. I have an hour commute, heavy traffic most days. What I have learned over the years is a mid-size sedan is the way to go. Not too small so you don't feel cramped or get sorta pushed around by other drivers. Not too big so you can slip by tight situations. MPG is adds up over the year, so the advantage of an SUV does not balance out for me. Comfort, it's a car not a truck. A sedan has a locking trunk. Safety gear stowed out of the way. If you keep good all season tires with a heavier tread, FWD & traction control will get you through most winters reasonably well....or you just should have stayed home anyway.

I see people say that Toyota sells more than the Honda...On top of that, Honda has resisted as other Asian brands have begun relying on sales to daily rental companies to boost numbers in the fashion the Detroit 3 once did. “In February, more than 18% of Toyota’s new vehicle sales were to fleets. Honda does no fleet business.

Honda does not do fleet business because they cannot meet the demands of both sides. Even with Toyota doing a percentage of fleet sales, their cars STILL hold more value than Honda's. So in essence, a sale is a sale.

@mootsym
@mootsym 3 года назад
i've test driven both 3x in the past 2 weeks. The 8-speed isn't smooth, and for a new car, that's concerning. Accord CVT only has to "downshift" once to get the rpms up.. the 8-speed clunks around twice as long to get into gear for ramps and emergency passing situations. Accord also has it's torque below 2k rpms, while Camry you have to wait until 6 or something. With that said, Honda's turbo into a tiny 1.5L engine terrifies me. I have no empirical evidence, but I feel like I can work the Camry motor and not worry.. where I feel like I may blow up the 20ish PSI boosted 1.5L. I gotta make a decision by Saturday and hate the predicament I'm in. I'd just get a 2017 Accord, what I had before being run off the road into a tree, but the newer cars have slightly better crash test ratings... albeit costing me 4+ thousand more in the long-run.

Recent buyer of 2018 Honda Accord Sport Manual Transmission. Here are some reasons I picked the Accord to purchase 1. I did a ton of research. Accord was car of the year for a reason. Don’t believe me? Check out alot of other reviews and the great majority all pick Accord as the best 2. My gf is like the lady in this review and loves the Camry interior, my gf owns a Camry XSE. I prefer the Accord interior. I also liked the over all styling of the Accord the best. 3. People will say Camry is lower cost of ownership, I found that not true. I contacted my insurance lady and Accord is $500 a year cheaper on insurance than Camry. My insurance is through Nationwide. This was before I did the 5 month electronic monitoring that saved me an additional 40% off insurance for the life of the car. I now pay $50 less for full coverage on the Accord than I did for liability for my 20 year old Chevy Silverado. 4. If Apple Car Play or manual transmission are deal breakers for you, then your only choice IS the Accord. 5. Accord is spacious all around. Very comfortable ride, tons of leg room as well. Plenty of room in the back seat and trunk. Also like mentioned in this video, alot of storage space for phone, change, cups etc. Lastly the deal I made. Finding a manual transmission Accord is challenging enough. I was able to get it delivered to my house, free window tint and 6 years free maintenance, all for below invoice. My best friend is the finance manager at a Toyota dealership. I know what invoice looks like 😇😇 So for me, I liked it best of the bunch as far as style, safety, value, ride quality, and all the tech included. If you are in the market, I would encourage you to do your own research.

Speaking in general: When commenting on theses types of reviews , we cannot be bias if we own only one of these vehicles, you have to be opened mined to each vehicle thats being reviewed on here.. me personally , I Think all of these cars are reliable; they each have their own flaws , but great cars all in all. I’ve own a Toyota Camry , and a nissan product. I must say they’re great cars to have as a daily driver , and very superb economically wise on your pockets when it comes to maintenance. I’ve never own a Honda Accord , but have close friends, and family members who has a Honda Accords an they love them...I work for the Nissan manufacturing company, and they motto is safety first and Quality. All n all these 3 manufacturers have done a great job ! I love all 3 cars tbh. If I was in the market for these 3 sedans , and me being a car enthusiast, I’ll have to push these cars to its maximum capacity , performance, handling, fuel efficient, techs, and quality of the product. The Honda Accord, Nissan Altima ,and Toyota Camry each have different specific items I like on each car. For example. I like the pano , and the red interior , quad exhaust pipes of the Camry, but I like the Honda Accord front fascia , infotainment ,and the push button gearbox, I like nissan, rear fascia , engine , and the awd system. I wish I could take all those components an put them into one car! Lol
