This was a seriously good presentation. Two thumbs up for your efforts in putting this video together. I would love a laser CNC like this one. If I had the extra money, or maybe even when I have the extra money, I'll be following your advice on purchasing something of this quality. You should have 1000x more views. Subscribed!!
Thanks Andre, much appreciated. Hoping to figure out more data capability soon so I can get back to uploading, I only have mobile data at the moment which is very limiting (most of the videos on the channel are over 1gb to upload!)
If you're in Europe and looking at buying a laser, I'd like to encourage you to fly, drive or catch a train over to Norfolk, UK to come to the workshop and take a look at our laser/spend the day with us talking lasers. Norwich is the closest city, and we can pick you up from there if needed. There's a train stop closer to the workshop... but I have no idea where it goes! We love talking lasers, and would be happy to discuss your requirements, doubts, questions about buying chinese vs 'name brand', whether it's AccTek or other. I've owned/worked with 6 brands of chinese laser, trotec speedy 300 and 400, and epilog lasers for over 8 years.
I'm looking to cut 24x48inch sheets of plexiglass so i need i machine around this size. I however noticed the 1390 brings up about 4-5 brands of what appears to be the exact same machine (shape/size/specs etc) and am wondering what one of those names you might recommend. Keep in mind I only intend to cut that one material of that size.
To follow up on this 5 months after posting, about 6 months after delivery - the laser is still going strong, its used 6 days a week, sometimes only for a few minutes by usually for several hours. The tube is reading 128W at the tube after about 6 months of use. Cheap tubes would have maxed out their hours by now and have needed replacement. We're running this mostly at 100% power. We're still trying to figure out why the P18 powersupply has around a 15ms rise time to full power. I'd recommend anyone else to buy the EFR laser powersupply instead of the RECI as they advertise a max of 1ms rise time, RECI do not advertise a rise time at all - this is *really* important for engraving. Other than that - no issues what so ever with the laser, it's very well built from quality components.
What an amazing detailed filming! Thank you so much. I see this is an older recording. Have they upgraded since then? Do you know Can you please list all the changes you made in your comments field? Where did you buy it from Regards
Hello Minnie,Thanks for your interest in our laser machine, i am andy from acctek cnc, if you want to know more about this laser AKJ1390, i can send you more details , my whastapp: +8615254150505 email:export06@acctekcnc.com
Great video, what made you choose acctek out of interest compared to blue elephant or gweike for example? I had a quick look and they seem to be the two largest co2 makers on alibaba. Also Are you still offering help with getting a laser fitting your needs?
Great videos, thanks for posting them. Any thoughts or knowledge of StyleCNC? They seem to be nearly a twin to the Acctek, perhaps made in the same factory(ies) in Jinan, and I am looking at both Acctek and them, be interested in any feedback you have or are aware of.
Hi Mark, loved this video and I'm chatting with Jack in China. I have sent an email to you, not sure if you received it. Would love to come and chat about lasers and your overall business too
Amazing video. Thanks for making it so clear! I might be in the market for a lasercutter soon so hopefully if you are still able to I would really appreciate if I could ask you some advice around whats best for me. Thanks again!
Way to go! Great video and explanations. I just got my first Chinese machine and after a lot of research I made it a bit tailor made too. Buying straight from the manufacturer was the best thing I could’ve done, as u said, upgrades are way cheaper. I also made the same mistake to buy it CIF and here in Tallinn they charged me more than 600€ to receive it and do the paperwork... great advice of yours. Also, with all the upgrades, how come u didn’t upgrade to hybrid servo motors on the XY? Cheers
Hello Cabani, you can deal with seller by FOB,CIF or DAP, CIF means seller pay for the freight only , buyer need pay the local sea port charge and customs duty, finish the customs clearance. for the laser machine, stepper motor with belt is ok, hubrid servo motor is similar to the stepper compared the machine Performance
Thanks I was more keen on checking out the company and quality of the build. I am in the process of buying a 1kw Fiber laser from AccTek AKJ1325F the funny thing it has the RECI W6 130W and fiber laser combined as a option for a extra 1000usd. in 1985 I worked for a company as scientific instrument maker building lasers and the sealed tube lasers we were making were flat out producing 70w and was lucky to get 300 hours out of them but being for medical work it was not too bad. I just never expected a China made laser tube to preform that well including the HV power supply's. May contact you when it comes to transferring $$ to China as its about 27k in usd and I'm freeing out about that more. Anyway all the best from Vanessa at L2K.
Proximity sensors; They are accurate well within 0,02mm. Not 0,4mm. good ones will creep well below 0,01 repeatability. Microswitches can be relative accurate, but will vary over time and have a mechanical moving part. The cheap steel lip might seem wrong, but the proximity sensors depend on the influence of an electromagnetic field, although a simple steel lip (as poorly executed as here) works perfect and in the long run will outperform a microswitch.
Hi Mark, can you please share images of the red dot laser beam that you had installed to go through the mirrors. I cannot explain this to the Chinese supplier of the laser. If I have some images it will help. Many thanks
Great video. Wish I'd seen it before I bought my 1610-2. Just received it a few days ago and in the process of setting up. I paid 13k for mine and 2700 customs and logistics fees. Quick question. Were the hoses for the laser tube already attached? I'm trying to get mine one the tube and is a nightmare
I have been talking to acctek for few weeks now, i have quoted the 1390M with dual tubes 300w and 100w and dual head for metal and general cutting / engraving, is there any parts you would recommend having swapped out on they're end before shipping. This is my first laser so im not very experienced in Chinese general parts like rails , belts ect. Is the up down table something you need, they're charging an extra 200 bucks for it .
The up and down table is worth every penny. I don't own such a big machine, I was chatting with Acctek about 2 months ago but I decided for a small 5030 that was available in Europe and easier for me to set up and buy. It has an up and down motorized table and it makes working with it so easy ;) GET IT!
Hi, sent you a test email about laser purchase assistance, If there is a list of what to buy and in what quantity I'm sure that would help everyone. Not a window shopper here, but have never owned a Laser. I did build a 4 axis 4' x 8' router, the rotary max length center to center 40 inches. Laser assistance welcome.
mix co2 laser cutter for metal and nonmetal, use ruida 6332M controller, RDC6445G is for normal nonmetal co2 laser ,my whastapp:+8615254150505 email:export06@acctekcnc.com
I Just found you and wish to thank you for producing such a great video with great content. I have subscribed and may return for some information . Take care, from Oz.
Bonjour, merci pour cette très bonne vidéo de présentation, j'envisage l'achat d'un laser co2 et vous allez me faire aimer le matériel chinois. Je vais vous envoyer un mail pour plus d'info sur le suivi administratif d'un tel achat. Merci encore Vincent
Thanks for your great video. It is our honor to work with you. Please let us know if you need some support from us in near future. By the way. can we forward the video to our pages?
@@thewoodshoplife8849 cool thanks for info. One thing i have noticed is that the high voltage is mixed with the low voltage line in the wiring channels
you aware of that reci is a chinese brand right? and compared with european brands it can be considered a cheap chinese stuff not less but in price is cheap
