Good tutorial, I was able to connect to TLC, I had to replace the BCM in my vehicle. When I get connected and select replace and reprogram. The only option that shows up is a Utility to Disable Electronic Column Lock.
I think you are in setup section, not programing. See when you select BCM under tgat list of modules there is a sub menu for what you wanna do with each on.
Hello Dallas Auto, thanks for the video. It helped me a lot to get my setup ready here in Ghana. So does it mean before Techline connect can be downloaded there has to be an active subscription?
This video was very helpful setting up Techline, thank you for showing this process in long form. Question, my reasoning for setting up Techline is to attempt to program RCDLR to unlock keyless entry. One I got Techline setup I played around with trying to programing but did not see this update. The GM Service Bulletin(circa 2013) I found regarding adding keyless entry, says for GM Techs to call Techline support for calibrations. Can I call Techline support and g we t these calibrations even though I'm not a dealer?
Thank you for doing this! I have 2 questions: 1) What are the computer specs for the computers you installed this on (Windows version, 32 or 64 bit, processor, etc)? I have an older laptop that works and don’t want to go buy a new one if I don’t need to. 2) Do I have to purchase the Techline Connect 1-year subscription (a little over $4000 on the AC Delco TDS page) to program my vehicle, or just the $45 SPS thing for a single vehicle?
@@alexiaestrada8490 Not on this thread, but I did find the answer after a LOT of reading and watching videos and deducing from those. No, you do not have to purchase the full subscription. All you need is the individual VIN subscription for your vehicle, which is about $40 if I recall correctly, and this is good for 3 years. I used it to program a new instrument cluster and a new BCM for my 2015 Chevy 2500HD and it worked just fine. In regards to the first question, I did end up going and buying a new laptop that was a 64-bit and installing the Techline Connect software on it, and it worked great. Apparently it did not like my older 32-bit laptop at all. I hope this helps.
Hello, I reprogrammed a Chevrolet Cruze Diesel 2014 ECU, a warning appears on the dashboard with the quality of the DEF fluid and they recommend doing a ECU reprogramming, I did it but the problem persists, what will happen if instead of selecting the REPROGRAMMING option I select the option SETUP?
I am trying to program BCM for XL7 2007 Model using Tech 2 (SPS2). But techline application not detecting the vehicle. I am using CANDi but it is also not showing in the VCI list. Please support.
Thanks for the video. My only problem is that when I click to start tech line it goes through the updates and as soon as that start, I get an error from windows stating that “the system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation”. Can anyone help me with this and did anyone else have this problem?
Hey, I just downloaded my SPS subscription. However, when I try to add my vin to the subscription, it goes to the TLC Admin Console. I was able to install all those softwares, with the updates & Techline Connect. But, I can't add my vin, after clicking on view, in my subscription. It states I a subscription 1 available, but 0 is by active. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to connect the nano to my van & laptop, as I try to add my vin, to the Vin subscriptions?
Thank you very much for the video. Can I use this program to restore ACDelco e78 after a failed programming? Is it possible to find a shadow password in this program?
After you launch TLC click on connect vehicle on the top right side with the vci icon. A device explorer window is going to pop up, bottom right side option says change device when clicked you get to chose your device as long as the drivers for it installed in your computer.
I have a problem, whereby it cannot load the vin slot I have bought, it always tells me I have null vin slot, whereas I have bought subscription vin slot
Привет! Скажи пожалуйста, если я куплю подписку Service Programming System (SPS2) Includes 24 months access to program all modules for one vehicle (VIN), смогу делать обновление блоков для европейского/корейского VIN? Достаточно ли купить только SPS2 24 months или нужно еще Techline Connect for 1 years?
@@erkfilms7026 sorry I don't have any knowledge of tge process in Brazil. What you can do is contact acdelco themselves via email and follow their response. I'm sure they know better than me as they are the provider of the service.
I have an issue with the website. It says unknown error occurred. please refresh page to try again. can somebody help me with this problem. I have an MSI laptop.
Yes I have a good internet connection. I try to open ac delco tds and I gives me that error and when I open it in another computer like a Lenovo it lets me open the website. I don’t know why is not letting me load the page
Good evening, Sir. I tried to program my ECU, and BCM. However, I am getting error code 9044. Something about failing to get a tool lock. Do you know how I can resolve this error, so I could program my listed modules, Sir?
@@DallasAutoDiag , Oh ok, well I pray all goes well, when I do this. I'm is a 64-bit, laptop/tablet with Windows 10, on it. But, I didn't know techline connect wasn't being stable.
@@jessecastrellon6150 first uninstall everything, then have your installation file ready on your desktop. Restart your computer and once it starts to boot keep pressing F8. Then you will login to safe mode. Install tlc and see if you get any error.
