I got the good ending by complete luck. I picked De Killer, and i knew that i had to pick one of the three items that Franziska presented, i just picked the video tape by sheer luck.

Like a goof I picked the killer but in his butler disguise and picked something other then the tape. This was a very sad thing to see man, I felt so guilty about it.
I really love this bad ending. Especially the quote "The Miracle never happened. Maybe it was never meant to. Because such things as "miracles" don't exist." For me, I got that ending because I picked the wrong answer at the very last time. But I was scared of being softlocked, do I had to spoil myself a little bit to avoid it.
i think the miracle actually happened when de killer accidentally left the tape and when engarde said something about blackmailing and recording him, Wright just needed to realized that and pointed it out.

I got the good ending and apparently,the good ending shows you the last piece of evidence,Which is the Phoenix Wright Card I dont know if it is the last piece of evidence but since everyone agrees it is it probably is
NOW IT MAKES SENSE! When Gummy says he had 4 evidences, the Shelly deKiller card was an obvious hint to whom you must show the evidence. Dunno why Von Karma kept it, but I think it is some kind of a trade.
You three misunderstood the og comment, I think. They didn't mean it's the "last evidence" we needed to present. In the case, Von Karma only brings three pieces of evidence, and Gumshoe then remembers they were four, the last one being in his pocket, and hence why she didn't notice it. It was not really an decisive evidence, anyway, as it was just a Shelly DeKiller card with Nick's face drawn on it, which was just a little detail of how Maya mentioned she drew something but lost it. It's not decisive simply because we had a DeKiller card already, and even if we didn't and we got it from Gumshoe, it would change nothing, as the DeKiller card is not some obscure secret, as it is something he left at every crime scene he commited.
The first time I was at this part I accidentally did: Picture Card and Videotape instead of DeKiller's profile. Luckily I was playing the trilogy version so I had save states. Still... BIG FAIL LOL!

I think Maya ended up committing suicide in this ending. We already know she had self-destructive thoughts in the first game. When she was set free, she must have thought "All this has happened because of me"

I didnt get the bad ending, i restarted immediatly at a save point lmao. I mean to be fair, i was on the right track, i choose De killer and the bear with the camera, and the game was like "wahh?? i donnut geht it??" So i had to restart and choose the video tape to get the good ending smh
anyone willing to provide a hint as to what needs to be presented to whom? just a hint is fine, I want to try to figure it out myself (edit: nvm, I caved and looked through the comments, I honestly feel like a dumbass for not remembering something important)
Man this really sucked all the enjoyment out of the ending. Like seriously I still have a bad taste in my mouth… didn’t help that after 11 tries I mess up the good ending by trying to give Edgeworth my badge…
