Wow, how cool to see Peter and Ace play again. It's been like what, 8 years? And they give us Hard Luck Woman and Strange Ways- good picks! And a big thanks to the other guys in the band!
46 ,and t 3 ,4 years old my uncle gave me 12 kiss records and I was hooked ACE ws my first idle and PETER WAS ACE,S FRIEND SO HE WAs COol with me ,Gean scared me I Just didn't like Paul, cool shit ACE AND PETER GOT UP Their and do what they do , F,,,,ck. Vin. Plus my 2nd idle was ULTIMATE WARRIOR , YOU HAD TO GROW UP IN THEM TIMES TO TRULY UNDERSTAND. BEST TIMES 70 ,80, 90, 2000, AND ABOUT 2005 ISH ,I THIND HBO ,PUT THE WIRE OUT. AND THE SHEILD SOMETIME AROUND THEM GOOD OLD DAYS ,LOL , ✌️ OUT.
Me four. Plus Peter Has been jamming with Jazz and Swing Bands recently. Bruce who joined the band in 1985 revealed that he would have loved for all of the surviving members to perform an unplugged set when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but the organizers refused.
I'm amazed that both of them are still here!!! They were both crazy on drugs and drinking, plus car crashes, and Ace getting electrocuted. I always thought Pete had the best voice in the band. Bless the both of them!
If by "best songwriter " you mean New York Groove ( that everyone is always wanking on about ) than no. The newest member of the KISS wigs for men club didn't write that one.
@@careful__Icarus true...he did a cover of the New York dolls version on his solo.album...only song ace wrote that anybody knows is shock me....but even that song never got radio air play...ace was a good piece of the kiss puzzle but by himself he'd never be able to produce a bit record then or now....world's luckiest guitarist
Peter joined Paul and Gene in summer 1972 Amazing he's still here 50 years later. Grateful for KISS and all they have achieved. The 79s were very special indeed. Rock on guys...
How can you say that sounds good? It's great to see them together but it's a train wreck. The guitars aren't even tuned, Ace doesn't know how to play the song and Peter can't sing in key.
@@wadeva69 I was really referring more to his band sounding fantastic (they're all great musicians), but I get what you're saying about Ace's tuning issues, esp. on Strange Ways. I think Peter's vocals on Strange Ways sound really good, considering he's 76 and was never known to be a technically accurate vocalist anyhow. He has a certain something that works for those songs, IMO.
@@HuDost Yeah, I guess I'm not being as picky as usual because it's awesome seeing Peter & Ace performing together! You never know how long we have left with the original four, so I cherish these moments.
This did my old KISS heart good to see this in such a challenging time with inflation and pandemics sucking the life out of us. Peter and Ace together like the old days. Thanks for posting this Mike.
yeah it wasnt bad, right? I was kinda surprised too because I know how difficult that great intricate solo is to play. No one has ever been able to replicate that amazing solo ever. not even once. not ever. not even with dolby on
Bad Boys of Kiss Tour 2..saw them on their club tour before the big reunion tour and they rocked the joint out.boy would gene and Paul crap their pants seeing ace and Peter on their tour for sure.
Ace and Peter! Peter sounded great especially on hard luck woman, made it sound so smooth and that guitar solo on Strange Ways gave me goosebumps! God Bless Ace and Peter! So grateful to see them playing together and both still with us. Thank You for sharing this.
Wow, goosebumps baby! Ace looked to be telling Peter to keep drumming at the end...Electricity in the air, in the crowd....AWESOME and REALLY special to see Ace and Peter together again. All the stuff these two have been through, thankful to have them both still around. Now let’s apply this to the End of the Road tour!!!!!!!!
God I wish Peter and Ace would tour together. Screw the new Kiss and their farewell tour, I would pay good money to see Peter and Ace on tour together!
Now that was a Real piece of Kisstory in the making! Peter is already 76 and Ace 71 and still have some kick left in them unlike the other half of Kiss... ❤❤🤘🤘
Bro that was just so awesome! And as a new kiss fan to see the two original members together again is just awesome🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻! Proud member of the Kiss army here
Welcome to the KISS Army! Been a fan since 1976. Saw the original 4 in concert at The Spectrum in Philly. Cried tears of joy. Just went to Ace's show the other night, and he can still rock🤘
Kinda cool to see them both back on stage again..maybe gene and Paul should come to ace and say how sorry they both are for saying all the crap about him and invite him to perform with them at the last show.
mike, that was awesome. thank you so much for posting this video. i very much enjoyed watching the better half of kiss performing together. really hope we get to see a lot more of these 2 dudes in the near future. cheers, from b.c. chinada (canada).
Paul and Gene are originals, and never separate, yet Ace and Peter create much more fanfare. Go figure. Even the new fans love these two. For sure I play now, because of the seed Ace sewed in my small child's imagination.
Gene and Paul run around onstage with two musicians pretending to be Ace and Peter playing oldies to backing tracks, and they are originals? Too funny.
For one thing. Tommy Thayer had to reteach Ace how to play the KISS songs for the reunion tour. Peter couldn't even play the drums without help using pads on the drums during the Psycho Circus tour. How do I know, because I was there. Paul Stanley is KISS, wrote all of t he hit songs and had done so much more. Ace and Peter are lucky to be able to be playing State Fairs this year. If it wasn't for Paul and Gene, nobody would have ever heard of Paul Frehley and Peter Crisscoula.
How is playing to a few hundred people at one convention creating more fanfare than a world tour in arenas and next weekend 80,000 at Download? It’s a nice bit of nostalgia to see Ace & Peter together but nothing compared to what Gene & Paul have built & maintained.
This is the embodiment of the OG KISS I do really like Kiss afterAce and Peter too Just so amazing those first albums they were on They were just amazing
Gene and Paul man they talked about all the crap about ace and Peter..this performance proves they still have the idea to get up on stage and do all the classic kiss songs and maybe gene and Paul will be forced to eat all the stuff they said about both of them.
Contrary to Paul in genes thoughts These two original members with instruments in their hands are the sound of kiss that made them a worldwide phenomenon leave them there to give us what we demand one more time before you wrap it up
This was really cool. Peter looks really frail, a lot more so than the last time I saw him on a stage, and that saddens me. I know he has had a lot of health issues, but still, we hate to see our heroes getting old and frail.
That was awesome,,,, I wanted to going to this so bad but unfortunately couldn't make it happen.... Hopefully they will do something down the road together!!
Hell Yes!! Strange Ways one of my favorites. Probably one of of not the best Ace solo. Peter’s vocal was always killer on that. Plus to have Peter back there playing drums on it too. I wasn’t sure if he’s get on the kit at all.
This is fun to see them together… but let’s not pretend that this doesn’t sound horrible. If this was still KISS this is exactly where you’d be seeing them in this tour… a hotel conference room.
