Seen him a year ago in Milwaukee. Talked to his roadies who gave us their comped tickets. They said Ace never got sober as he claims. He has his good and bad days. Some days drunk and wheel chair bound.
@@j.reveille6815, I know what they said. They said he has good and bad days. They gave me information on how to buy his excess guitars, contact info. They must have been lying hey? Even Ace said he has relapsed with his sponsor.
Stop bashing Ace, he probably did this song as a favor. I'm sure the gear isn't the best quality or even the guitar he was playing. No rehearsal type thing.
I don’t think Ace is high or drunk just burnt and doesn’t bother to care anymore. Even when he was fkd up he would crack jokes ,he’s not as happy go lucky as he used to be . And he wants a paycheck for these gigs but it sounds like he doesn’t even rehearse for them .
I think the only thing Bruce is in awe of is that Ace can play the song as piss drunk as he clearly is… Bruce can play circles around Ace without even trying…
I agree ,he’s not the happy cracking jokes Ace we know and love . Seems like he shows up for a paycheck to keep his lifestyle but has no interest or love for what he’s doing anymore and it also seems that he doesn’t rehearse for these gigs either.
Ace bashing...congrats on your freedom of speech.....let me see you get up there & do better.....go ahead i am waiting.....you know sometimes when you reach a certain age....you might not do certain things as well as you use to ( mind body and soul )......long live rock n roll......be it dead or alive❗
I'm sorry, I don't like to bash musicians either, but as a musician myself, it is obvious that both the band and Ace are lost in this song. The drummer came in on the wrong beat and there were several wrong chords played by many members (including Ace) It might just be the fact that they are not used to playing together as a group. This is the reason that a lot of musicians don't like to jump up on stage with a band they have had no practice with. I'm by no means a musician in the caliber of these guys but, if I played in a band that just finished a song in this fashion, I would be totally embarrassed. This has nothing to do with Ace's age. They were just totally unrehearsed.
I agree. Even middle aged people in the comments giving him a hard time perplex me.. I'm 31 and definitely can't keep up with my 21 year old self playing shows and drinking and getting high and beat up in moshpits lol. No way! I would die now but I used to go to work in the morning and rinse and repeat at night with some Gatorade and nothing else. Imagine being in your 70s! I respect dudes like Ace who partied so hard and can still do concerts. Life on the road is not as easy as it looks
He's in his 70's ...partied hard. Mege-fame and countless sluts, drugs , alcohol and origies. Cum to think of it . .I've slipped also. Right onto a tight, wet, 18 year old orifice. 😆
Jesus, people. This is what a sober, former addict looks and acts like at 70 years old. I'm in awe of all the behavioral and addiction specialists we have in the comments section. GFY
Agreed. Trolls came to play on this comment section! He's a Rock n Roll hall of fame inductee for f###s sake! Most people commenting probably still have their concert stubs from New kids on the block 🤣
Ace Frehley foi meu ídolo de infância. Hoje é lamentável ver ele se apresentando. Devia ter se aposentado após sair do Kiss. Assisti o show dele aqui em São Paulo em 2017 e sai decepcionado 😕
The drummer came too fast for the 2nd verse, the band and Ace almost lost it but somehow they got into it. Other band will messed up and stop to repeat.
This is the most eloquent and accurate comment I’ve read so far. Yes Steve Brown walked next to Aced and showed him the frets and notes he was playing. Ace caught up by reading Steve’s hand. Thanks for your comment
Tommy could play left handed and be better than ace. This is why he's not on the end of the road tour. It would be over by the time he learned the songs. This is bad anyone who argues that is hearing impaired
