Some good news! I managed to get an offer from ucl for pharmacy. Thank you for information, definitely helpful and calmed my nerves even though I panicked in the interview (thought i failed from interview). I think lesson learned. The interviewers will know you are nervous so don’t worry too much about it. Just demonstrate your genuine passion for pharmacy say why you will enjoy it and why it may also come with difficulties and how you would overcome them. The interviewer just want to get to know you! All the best for anyone applying next year

@@scillaasa I have just finished the test today and it went pretty well:P those calculations are quite basic and even for the essay question it's quite open-ended~ thank you for putting me at ease XD

@@christylee9530 hi!! i have my test tomorrow i was just wondering with the essay, is it like based scientifically or more ethically. like would i need to revise like actual content?

@@lilo955 It's based more ethically I'd say. You'd comment on a situation based on your own views so you can actually write anything you like as long as it's sensible:P The scientific parts are included in the calculations before the essay

Hey thanks for this it was super informative, I’m not from the UK so this is all super foreign to me. Do you know roughly how long the essay needs to be, and also do I need to provide them with identification documents for the ID check they talked about in the email?

Hey, I took my test around November. This will differ for all applicants. How long + preparation- answered this in the video. Interview invitations differ for different applicants, I can’t give an exact date✨

I couldn’t really tell you that. Have a broad knowledge of things going on in the health sector. It could be anything at all

This mPharm exam is for UCL. They’ll send you a link to take the test some weeks after you’ve submitted/they’ve received your UCAS application. I do not know the entry test procedure for other pharmacy schools. Do call them and inquire✨

Hey.Is it possible to switch subjects from pharmacy to dentistry in the same year or is a gap year required?? Also does UCL do dentistry? Thanks

To study dentistry you are required to go through the entire application process- ucat/BMAT, A Level grades, personal statement, interview then you might land an offer. You can’t just switch from one course into dentistry as you haven’t fulfilled the other requirements . UCL doesn’t do undergrad dentistry. If you search the list of uk dental schools you’ll find which unis offer it✨

Are the chemistry questions A-level based or GCSE based coz some students wouldn’t have completed the entire course by the time we do the test?

They will be questions you should be able to solve at your level. Like I said in the video relative molecular masses etc ✨

No. You will be sent an email invite with a link to take the online test. Then depending on your result they may choose to invite you to an interview. All the best!

Hi I jus applied to ucl pharmacy with the grades BBB but I'm hoping to get accepted through the access course which lowers the grades from AAB TO BBB . Do u think its likely I'll get an offer ? 😭

Hey Vinita, so sorry for the late reply I missed your comment. I can’t give you a definite answer but if the access course lowers grades to BBB and you’re applying with BBB too, then I be guess you stand a chance. Multiple factors go into getting uni offers eg interviews, online tests etc. If you’re ever in doubt, email their admissions office, they should be more than happy to help

Hey I have my interview tomorrow for Kingston University and the email addressing it says that after the interview I have to give test, being an international student what do you think will be the procedure for the entry test?

The test is online for everyone. Most international studentsI have helped prepare had their interview online but I’d advise you to contact the admin team for info about international student interviews.
