In this video, I unbox and take my first look at the new Acer Chromebook Spin 311, this is the first-ever Chromebook I have looked at on the channel and enjoying it thoroughly, it offers a 360˚ hinge which allows for the display to rotated and used in a tablet form plus many viewing options.

I've had a Lenovo 10e tablet Chromebook for a year ,now, and I'm quite pleased with it. As a former Mac user since 1986 (friends say that, if cut, I'd bleed 6 colours) the design, ease of use, and the build quality is more than acceptable.

Just got mine today and didn’t know it was touchscreen until I touched the screen on accident . 😅 got it for a great price . 5 stars in my book . Even played my Xbox on it by using the app . Works great . I’m taking it everywhere I go . 👍

love my chromebook. was cheap, small, fast. No hassles like windows. but, they only offer updates for a short period of time. Not sure how this will effect me, when it is out of updates.

Depends on your DVD drive having a USB output then you should be able to connect it to the Acer.

Rick I think I heard you say that the Acer spin 311 has built-in Wi-Fi. So that means that I don't have to log on to an internet service provider. How do I activate the onboard Wi-Fi for the spin 311 so I can get online. I know nothing about Chromebooks so whatever help you can give me will be appreciated. Hello, apologies for any confusion; this device has wifi built in, which allows you to connect to an internet provider; this requires you to connect either to your home internet connection or another connection in a shop or other places.

I have this chromebook and love everything about it...except it constantly freezes! I can't return it because it has been over 30 days. Acer wants me to ship it to them at my expense. I have powerwashed and rebooted and it still continues. So frustrating!

This chromebook doesn't support a stylus. Only the Education version support a EMR stylus.

This device works well, but it doesn't have windows 10, & my mums does hers cost more than mine $410 & hers is a Acer, with windows 10 which it came with🤔💭, but now my problem I'm having is how do U stop device management 🙄 from filling up, & by the way I got mine for $247, so yes it's a good product but my problem is, if the device management 🙄 gets too full what will happen to my device🤷‍♂️...

Hi, that is a great price, I know Google OS will be updated to certain period but worth checking on their website, this was a review model which I had for about 2 months.

Hi, yes you can use a soft touch pen with a rubber tip as I had a stylus that worked for me during my review.

Hi, this is a little odd try connecting via you phone then if that works then try hotspoting to your chrome book and see it then connects. I hope this helps 😊

I shouldn't think so. This is a Chromebook i.e. it runs web applications AND THAT'S ALL so no downloading non-chrome applications. Chromebooks are excellent devices though. I'e had one for years and have had no problems at all. No need for updates, no need for a virus scanner. They just work.

@@RickysTechTalk defiantly I got a samsung chromebook 4 at Walmart they said out of stock but then I walked in they had it and I didn't even check if it had a sd card it didn't have on and only has 32gb with only 14gb available but for getting it for 195 dollars with the added 3 year protection plan its a good deal just need to find a wirless usb c hub
