I get it, but how can you tell if a compound is a base only from it's NAME? E.g. Sodium carbonate. Is there a way to know this is a base just from looking at it??

Angel, we are unable to find in that way I am search the reason of it at a very long time but i find that their is only 3 theory which help in find the base and acid

I've seen this from a website my teacher showed us, but acids have an ionizable hydrogen, and bases usually have a hydroxide at the end of it.

That's not possible because Hydrogen ion which is the H+ always the one to donate into the base compound

Unfortunately, there are no absolutes in Chemistry. There's always an exception to every rule (even this one).

NH3 is neutral and it gains an H+. Therefore the charge has to be +.

It didn't lose a hydrogen, the hydrogen from the other reactant was loss, then joining NaOH and with that joining water was formed so that's why you don't see NaO/NaOH2 on the product side!
