There is a Waldocustoms return spring coming in days, you can short stroke the bolt even more, cct g18c hammer kits are compatible, and a gen 2 bolt is out. So yeah, you can build a lot of crazy things from it. The next thing after the already release steel hammer from AA will be a tdc cnc hop up chamber, they showed a demo recently, and that one looks dope af. I spent some time playing with inner parts, and it is quite fun, laser shooting beast for cqb at least :)

Disappointing to see that it's had this many issues! I had regarded the design to be one of the most promising currently on the market. Hopefully they will iterate on the design and improve it over time, though a part of me predicts them just doing "upgrade parts" to "fix" the gun...

Buys a cheap pistol, sticks a load of badly made crap on to it and is surprised when it's not as good as a top of the range gun. Classic. You can buy a metal top to fix the wobble. Also he seems upset the the manufacturer supports it with numerous parts, like their competitors will jump in as well.

I noticed a way of fixing your pistol wobble in the carbine set up. Just behind your spirit level bubble, it is possible to drill a small hole in the picatinny rail and fix a screw through the rail to the hole on top of the AAP-01. There is a rail mounting hole in that area just infront of the rear sight. The pistol would then be fully connected, the strain/wobble would be massively reduced, and your accuracy should go up. It just means its a permanent carbine, or more more to disassemble. I really like your build, the handguard you chopped up looks like the one on the specna arms E14 I just ordered ( in two tone blue) I might consider chopping it up and doing the same when I get a replacement handguard. I think this is an option to explore, you have a very solid platform and it looks awesome. Please let me know if you try the screw through the rear picatinny rail into the gun and what your results are. Either way if you don't try it, I will give it a try in a few months and let you know what my results are. 👍👍👍

why don't you lock the kit on using the upper receiver and under barrel threads (meant for rails)? Then it wont wobble will it?
