Worked with Phil and Jim Wharton over 20 years ago. They cured my sciatica pain ion one session. This was after suffering debilitating pain for over 8 months. AIF works period!!!

Any runners who still only do 'static' stretches are really missing out on maximizing their running potential. Active Isolated Stretching is a huge upgrade!!!

Hello I actually run 6 days a week and I do few static stretching after my workout (cool down if any) by holding for 15secs. Here my question is am I right or should I do AIF excercises after the workout. Do correct me

Ok, I have a question about this, and am very excited about the possibilites I'm hoping that it will do for me. But, I've had a bad back for some time now, which has lead to knee injuries. I started doing Yoga, which made a world of difference for me. They all hold for 30 seconds to 1 Minute. Should I keep doing Yoga the same way? From what I understand, the extended stretches cause blood flow restriction, and I don't want to do more harm than good. Do I follow Yoga using the same principal?

Oh, to answer my own question, they sell their wares on their website (given at the end of the video; Google won't let me post it here)

Hi, Can AIS help with glute amnesia? I am a sprinter and I never feel my glutes and hamstrings, only my quads are sore. This is not optimal since the glutes should drive the body forward, the glutes being the larges and most powerful muscles of the body. Can AIS make me glute dominant ? Thank you

I wish the diagrams in the book were half as easy to follow as watching this video. Is there a DVD available for the book? And, where can I get me a snazzy rope like that?!?!

I have watched Meb use these stretches when he prepares to run or after, hasn't hurt him.

Yep, a Runners World video of Meb doing it is what got me interested. Bought the $15 Go Fit stretching rope off Amazon and love it, it's been such a godsend for my plantar fasciitis!

Hi! I've been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for the past 8 months, everytime I start increasing the mileage or run a lot of uphills, it gets back. I have high arches, I run barefoot once or twice a week. I got interested in this method after reading this www.runnersworld.com/health/the-big-7-body-breakdowns could I maybe ask you to share what stretches you did to get rid of PF? that would be amazing. thank you!! and congratulations on healing that thing!

+Tommy Harris "A recent study showed that static stretching(30s stretch) was far superior to active isolated stretching." Studies in the past showed that active stretching was superior. Can you please provide a link to to the study or elaborate?
