Active Transportation Academy - Creating a Vision Zero Action Plan Training Part 1 

Communities across Ohio are committing to reaching zero traffic deaths and serious injuries through Vision Zero plans, policies, and strategies. In this two-part training, participants will learn the fundamentals of traffic safety and the information needed to create a Vision Zero Action Plan.
• Part 1 will present fundamentals of traffic safety, an overview of state-level traffic safety programs, and an introduction to Vision Zero. This training will also include an update on statewide traffic-related crash trends. (This is what was covered in this recording.)
• Part 2 will cover Vision Zero goals, components, and implementation in more detail. This training will provide a detailed review of the steps and elements needed to create a Vision Zero Action Plan, including Safe Streets for All funding information.
