Hi Gerald: I cannot make comments on specific cases with performing a physical examination. I would recommend you a practitioner in your area and have them take a look at it. Cheers

most of these points are reachable by another person - I am elderly and cannot get down to the lower levels - and most seem to need two strong arms as he says to do both sides of the body at the same time - difficult for a lone person.

I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and share your thoughts, @wordsfromtheheart-bethsumm6897. It's important to adapt any therapeutic practice to meet individual capabilities and safety, especially for those who might not be able to reach certain acupressure points due to mobility issues or when strength may be a concern. While some techniques are demonstrated as being performed on both sides of the body simultaneously, many can be modified and done one side at a time. Additionally, there are specific points on the upper body that can be effective for promoting relaxation and may be more accessible for you to reach independently. I would suggest consulting with an acupressure specialist or a healthcare provider who could offer guidance on which points may be most beneficial and practical for your situation. They might also provide you with modified techniques that you can comfortably perform on your own. Your well-being is paramount, and I hope you continue to find our content helpful.

people will have more pressure on one side than the other often because something has given them a pelvic tilt. Missing teeth, inflammation in the legs and feet, many other things you wouldn't expect cause the brain to lose orientation and the body produces a sympathetic response, trying to compensate for the brain that doesnt know where it is. Pelvis tilts, ribs flare, then shoulders go offset, and that offset pressure feeds right there into the back of the neck where those gall bladder points live.

Please share the points for fibromialgia
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 8 месяцев назад
Thank you for watching and for your question, @vijayadinesh6121. Fibromyalgia is indeed a complex condition, with symptoms that can vary significantly from person to person. Our approach to fibromyalgia in Motion Specific Release (MSR) is tailored to each individual's presentation, which requires a thorough physical assessment to determine the most effective treatment points. As such, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to offer specific advice without a proper examination. For more detailed information and guidance, we suggest reaching out to a healthcare professional trained in Acupressure/Acupuncture. Your interest and engagement are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out and expressing your interest in learning about acupressure, @nainayadav7113. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I must respectfully inform you that I am unable to provide acupressure training online. This practice requires hands-on guidance from a skilled practitioner. I would highly recommend seeking a qualified instructor in your local area in India who can guide you through the proper techniques. Thank you once again for watching, and I wish you the best in your pursuit of this fascinating aspect of holistic health.

@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 11 месяцев назад
Thank you for your insightful comment, @jeannetteduperval2304. It's indeed crucial to pinpoint the exact acupressure points. However, it's worth noting that acupuncture points possess an intriguing characteristic: they have a surrounding zone or 'area of influence' which enhances the effectiveness and precision of treatments. This unique aspect ensures that even slight deviations can still yield beneficial results.

Should both sides of the body be stimulated with every pressure point?
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 3 месяца назад
Hello @margoteisenbach7190, thank you for watching the video and for your question. Unfortunately, I cannot provide specific advice or comment on individual cases without performing a physical examination. That being said, in general terms, when using acupressure, it is often recommended to stimulate both sides of the body for balance and effectiveness. However, it's always best to consult with a licensed acupuncturist or healthcare provider for personalized guidance. Best regards, Dr. Brian Abelson, DC

What about if we are trying to conceive and do spleen 6? Should we avoid spleen 6 if we are trying to get pregnant
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 10 месяцев назад
Hello @melaniebarry1362, Thank you for your question and for watching our video on insomnia. It's important to note that while acupressure points like Spleen 6 can have various effects on the body, specific advice regarding its use, especially in relation to conception, should come from a personal consultation with a healthcare professional. Spleen 6 is traditionally thought to have an influence on the lower abdomen and reproductive organs, and is often advised to be avoided during pregnancy due to its potential to stimulate uterine contractions. However, when trying to conceive, its use is more nuanced and should be tailored to your individual health status. I recommend consulting with a qualified acupuncturist or another healthcare provider who can give you personalized advice based on a thorough examination. Best wishes on your journey to conception.

@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 10 месяцев назад
Thank you for sharing your experience. The phenomenon you're describing, where a sudden mental "flash" disrupts the onset of sleep, can be complex and rooted in various causes. While acupuncture has been used traditionally to address a myriad of health issues, including sleep disturbances, it's imperative to approach such concerns with a comprehensive evaluation. Without a direct physical assessment, I'm unable to provide specific guidance. I would recommend consulting with a healthcare professional familiar with both acupuncture and sleep disorders to tailor an approach best suited for you.

Thank you for watching and for your inquiry about the duration of acupressure treatment. It's important to note that I cannot provide personalized recommendations without a detailed examination of your individual case. The effectiveness and required duration of acupressure treatment can vary widely based on the underlying causes of insomnia, your overall health, and other individual factors. Generally speaking, acupressure may take some time to show its full effects. It's often a process that requires patience and consistency. However, for specific guidance tailored to your situation, I strongly recommend consulting with a local practitioner trained in acupressure or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They can provide a thorough assessment and create a customized treatment plan that's appropriate for your particular needs. Acupressure's approach to wellness is fascinating, and it may indeed offer relief for many. Your interest in exploring this path speaks to the curiosity and open-mindedness that drive advancements in holistic health.

How much pressure we have give on points
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 10 месяцев назад
When practicing acupressure, the amount of pressure applied to specific points is crucial for its effectiveness and safety. Here are some guidelines: Moderate Pressure: Generally, acupressure involves applying moderate pressure to specific points on the body. This pressure should be firm but not so intense that it causes pain or discomfort. Individual Sensitivity: The appropriate pressure can vary depending on individual sensitivity and the specific point being targeted. Some areas may be more sensitive than others, requiring lighter pressure. Pain Threshold: It's important not to exceed your pain threshold. Acupressure should feel strong and possibly a bit uncomfortable, but it should not cause sharp pain or significant discomfort. Use Gradual Application: Start with light pressure and gradually increase to a moderate level. This allows you to gauge your sensitivity to the pressure and avoid any sudden discomfort. Duration and Technique: Hold each point with steady, stationary pressure for about 1 to 3 minutes. You can also use small circular movements to stimulate the points. Body's Response: Pay attention to your body's response. A feeling of release, warmth, or a decrease in discomfort indicates effective pressure. If a point feels tender, it often indicates that it's an area of congestion or imbalance, and gentle pressure can be beneficial. Consultation for Specific Conditions: For individuals with specific health conditions or those who are pregnant, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting acupressure. Some points may need to be avoided or treated differently in these cases. Learning from a Professional: If you are new to acupressure, consider learning the technique from a qualified practitioner. They can guide you on how to apply the correct amount of pressure and how to locate the points accurately. Remember, acupressure is a complementary therapy and should be used in conjunction with, rather than as a replacement for, conventional medical treatment, especially for serious health conditions.

Thank you for watching the video. Acupressure is a practice rooted in traditional medicine that many find beneficial for relaxation and stress relief, which can be factors in insomnia. It's a technique that can be applied as a part of a broader approach to wellness. If you're considering acupressure for sleep-related issues, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure it complements your overall health strategy

Why is one side more tender than the other?
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 7 месяцев назад
Thank you for your question, @crystalgal03. It's not uncommon for individuals to notice variations in tenderness between sides of the body during acupressure or any other form of physical therapy. This can be due to a multitude of factors including daily activities, posture, handedness, and even sleeping habits, which can lead to imbalances in muscle tension and sensitivity. While I can't provide a specific explanation for your personal experience without a comprehensive evaluation, it's generally understood that the body is not always symmetrical in its responses to pressure and touch.

@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Год назад
Greetings! It's essential to note that it's not appropriate for me to advise on individual health scenarios without conducting a comprehensive physical check-up. For concerns such as dizziness after a stroke, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional in your local area who can evaluate your specific circumstances and provide appropriate guidance. Take care!

Can I do this everyday?
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Год назад
Thank you for your question regarding the acupressure for insomnia video. While acupressure can often be practiced daily, individual responses may vary widely. Here are some key points: General Practice: Acupressure is typically a gentle technique that many find suitable for daily practice. Personal Considerations: Your unique situation and overall health can influence the appropriateness of daily acupressure. Professional Guidance: It's essential to note that without a physical examination, I cannot provide individualized advice. Consulting with a healthcare provider experienced in acupuncture or acupressure is advisable for personalized recommendations. While acupressure may offer relief for insomnia for some, personalized assessment and guidance from a healthcare provider will ensure the safest and most effective approach for your specific situation.

which side makes what effect? clockwise counterclockwise?
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Год назад
While traditional Chinese medicine does recognize the importance of the direction of pressure in some acupressure points, the mechanisms underlying these effects have not been fully understood or validated. Additionally, different acupressure traditions may have different recommendations for the direction of pressure for a given point. That being said, many acupressure practitioners do use directional pressure as part of their practice, and some people report feeling greater benefits when pressure is applied in a specific direction. Ultimately, the direction of pressure used in acupressure may depend on the individual, the specific acupressure point being targeted, and the acupressure tradition being practiced.
