Wow, all these comments. I thought I was the only person who owned a 99 CL.

Absolutely perfect! Purchased a 98 CL and needed to get the radio code. This saved me from paying someone to retrieve it. Word of caution; after what looks like 200 sodas being spilled on it, the wood color trim was so stuck down that it snapped in two places! Be very careful when unhinging the clips, as this plastic is very thin. Thanks again sir, very much appreciated.

If this is the Bose system, you will need special adaptors to match the aftermarket output to the Bose level input. Wire harness 70-1720 from Metra.

thanks! i have some papers that slipped down in the center cosole..i didnt know you can just pull up the parts and they come off lol...i also need to remove/replace the radio cause cd player is dead...thanx!

my 99 cl has a bose system . when I remove the manufacturer radio and install the none manufacturer stereo. will the speakers still get its power from the the bose amp? or does this vehicle doesn't have a bose amp installed?

This video has almost the same setup as the 94-97 honda accord, i have a 94 accord and the only difference is the trim piece around the shifter and the seat warmer buttons which are not on the accord.

I had no idea you had to pull back the center console assembly so the wood grain around the gear shifter broke off as I tried to pry it out not knowing that their were two screws holding it down know I fell like an idiot for not checking out this video first.

Hey i bought a wire harness.from autozone plugged it in to pioneer double din and no sound, it displayed but no sound all wires were correctly wired, except break one and blue remote, can u help, is there any different harness.i.need to use, acura cl 3.0 bose system

1997 acura cl 3.0 is very different.

Call Acura Dealership with Radio Serial Number and u can get the code I did it a few times !!

I tried doing this because the radio just doesn't turn on any more. And when I got to the point of pulling up the "wood" panel the clip that are holding it in place all snapped off the panel. So I stopped and I think I will have an actual mechanic do it for me. Oops!
