I have a questions both my fans don’t work fuses are good wires connector has a little damage u think that could be the problem is the connector that connect to the fans which u can’t get it only if u buy the whole piece
I don't think there was a need to remove the blower fan, just by turning on the ac after replacing the Resistor; but anyways, it was a great video, thank you for uploading
Are these parts the same as the blower mode motor? The one that changes which air vents pass air? If not, could you guide me in the appropriate direction? I’d really appreciate any input. Thank you.
hello Morozov, i just did this fix, I now have cold air again, but warm air/heat is gone even after warming up engine and coolant level is good, any ideas? a/c works just fine
@@jamesh2652 finally figured it out. did the built-in diagnostics in the climate control and got DTC code 9 which is air mix motor/linkage/door. All i did was replug the green power connector and now i have heat. It's to the right of the gas pedal (beneath the radio)
So idk if this may fix my issue or if it maybe the actuator but, when I turn on my ac knob fan it make a noise under the dash as if it’s on but I get zero air flow through any of the vents at all, any idea what could cause this it would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
If it's not too late, haha! I'm doing mine, now. I already did trouble shooting on electrical. You need an owner's manual with a fuse diagram. Fuse diagrams are also printed on inside cover of fuse boxes. My 2005 Acura RL has 3 fuse panels, and I found 3 different fuses for controlling AC. Pull 'em out and test 'em. Mine were all good, plus relays, plus compressor clutch. So, now I am onto the fan motor.
damn. i just tried this and it didn't work. i bought a used one off of ebay. i assume it was functional. i don't think there was any wrong way to install it, so it must be a different problem. Only 99 degrees here today!
If the fan motor just doesn't turn on then check all your fuses first then the blower motor resistor next it it's still not working then the blower motor itself always check all fuses first for any electrical components could be a 1min job and super cheap mine the motor is failing it's rattling and smells like the motor is burning up
I have a 2006 Acura rsx and randomly I’ve noticed it will just stop blowing air. When it does blow though it blows cold as it should so AC works but like I said it just stops blowing air randomly. Could that resistor be going bad?
