ACURA RSX HEADLIGHT AND BUMPER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

In this video we will be completely removing the bumper and our headlight assembly on a customer's 2004 Acura RSX. The process should be identical for all RSX models, 2002, 2003, and 2004. 2005 and 2006 models may differ slightly.
Tools needed
GLOVES!
8mm socket and socket wrench
10mm socket and socket wrench
2 medium extension bars or 1 large extension bar
flathead screwdriver

Very informative, thanks for sharing. I might have to go the full disassembly if I can’t blindly install a low beam. The “springy” clip holding the bulb is a biotch and glad you took time to show how the action really clips around the bulb to hold it in place.

You're welcome. I strongly recommend taking the assembly out. Even after making this video I tried to replace a bulb without pulling the assembly and wound up breaking the spring. If I hadn't had a spare set of headlight assemblys I wouldn't have been able to drive my car!

This helped a lot but HOLY CRAP, I didn’t realize the amount of Jerry rigging that went on with the previous owner to make the bumper fit right. There are cracked pieces missing on the side panels by the tires so they had some crazy methods to make it stay without the bumper popping out by the wheels on each side.

I tried installing without taking off the bumper ending up breaking the clip too hold my bulb any suggestions on what I should do?

It is unnecessary to remove the bolt on the bottom, it just holds the bracket in place. It isn’t attached to the light housing. Just loosen it slightly. Other than that, this was a big help.

If you have stock headlights there will be a silver adjustment screw on the back that you can use to adjust your headlights. It's an 8mm. I just uploaded a picture on instagram for you so check it out @therealpragmaticpete Thanks for watching!
