Andre Insomnia he was drunk too, seriously what dumbass sends nudes to a drunk man(who she admits that they were both drunk), and then he apologized the day after and she laughed it off and said it was cool
I started watching WWE/WWF back around 2000 as a total casual (I had no idea what I was seeing back then, though I was about 16), but it wasn't until Raw in January of 2002 that I became a "fan". And I credit that to the Undertaker - the American Badass - versus Jeff Hardy in a ladder match for the Undisputed Championship. As a skinny and small kid, seeing those two chair shots by Hardy (if you've seen the match you know both of which I'm talking about, one is still one of the sickest I've EVER seen) and watching the skinny tag team specialist climb the ladder gave me hope as a small kid. I was on the edge of my seat when I heard JR crying out "Climb the ladder kid! Make yourself famous!" It still gives me a chill to this day.
My list 10. John Cena vs Rock II 9. Kevin Nash vs Bob Backlund 8. Kelly Kelly vs Tamina 7. Evander Holyfield vs Matt Hardy 6. Kurt Angle vs Eugene 5. Sheamus vs Jamie Noble 4. Ryback vs Brad Maddox 3. Michael Cole vs Jerry Lawler 2. Bret Hart vs Mr. MacMahon 1. Every Eva Marie match ever
It's crazy when you realize how short Austin's run on top of the entire wrestling world was but also how much of an impact it made on the entire industry. Definitely did more for the industry that ANYONE else
dkres82 both. what about razor vs hbk, lesnar vs cena vs rollins, bret vs owen at mania, savage vs steamboat and many did not even deserve to be on the list and the order too sucked!!!
Nothing will beat the 3 Stages Of Hell match from No Way Out 2001 for me. 2 guys at the peak of their careers, smart stipulations that fit their characters (Street fight for Austin, straight wrestling match for HHH, cage to contain them both on the 3rd fall), and great spots all throughout. Foley chants when Barbie was pulled out by Austin, this match had it all. Las Vegas truly hit the jackpot that night!
Does anyone else think the Cage should *ALWAYS* be chained shut. It's impossible to suspend disbelief that you can't just push your opponent to the floor, then bolt out the door.
ICantSplel I'm a little late lol. But I also believe that you shouldn't be able to win by pinfall. Idk I feel like it is easier to keep someone on the floor for 3 seconds rather then keeping them there as you go climb a 16 foot fence
@@WillCFarmer I mean really a cage match is your supposed to be you keep your openent in and outhers out it's much harder to escape are outhers interfere and trying to escape your openent is pretty heelish
My top 10 in no particular order. 1. HBK vs Ric Flair 2. John Cena vs JBL I quit match/street fight 3. HBK vs Taker 2.0 4. CM Punk vs Cena 2011 5. Daniel Bryan at WM30(also his face turn against Bray, although not a match, it might as well be) 6. Rock vs Hogan at WM 7. Edge vs Taker Hell in a Cell 8. KO vs Finn Balor in Japan for the NXT title 9. Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the NXT women's title(best female match of all time IMO). 10. Dreamer/Funk/Beaula vs Edge/Foley/Lita ECW One Night Stand 2006. Because flaming Barbwire bat says so.
+Iman Aliff That was just the end of the match, but everything they did in the match was fucking hardcore wrestling at its finest. I mean Terry Funk took Barbwire to his eye, brutal as shit.
Here's mine 10. Tie between Royal Rumble 2010 and Royal Rumble 2011 9. The Shield vs The Wyatt Family 8. Edge vs Mick Foley - Wrestlemania 22 7. The Rock vs Stone Cold - Wrestlemania x7 6. Owen Hart vs Bret "The Hitman" Hart - Summerslam 1994 5. The Rock vs Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania 18 4. Trish Stratus vs Lita - RAW December 6th, 2004 3. Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair 2. Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 25 1. CM Punk vs John Cena - Money In The Bank 2011
It's funny, looking at the 2001 royal rumble having 5 or so people who could win was huge. This year we have Undertaker, Brock, Goldberg, Strowman, Cena, Reigns, Joe, Nakamura, Miz, Angle, My grandma, and the Chicago cubs as believable winners.
+Abrahim Karzai Over The Limit was better, because it was way more technical, and that's what both of them are the best at. I agree with you though, all of their matches are underrated. I think it's because the entire feud kinda sucked IMO.
Having been there to witness it in person, I've never been part of a crowd like NXT Takeover Brooklyn, Sasha vs Bayley. It's now forever etched in my mind as one of my top 10 matches.
my favorites. 10. Rock vs Austin - Wrestlemania X-Seven 9. CM Punk vs John Cena - Money in the Bank 2011 8. Edge vs John Cena - Unforgiven 2006 7. Daniel Bryan vs HHH - Wrestlemania 30 6. Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle - Unforgiven 2002 (I saw that match live and to see 2 of my favorites compete live and in person was amazing) 5. HBK vs Chris Jericho - Wrestlemania 19 4. HBK vs Stone Cold - Wrestlemania 14 3. HBK vs Undertaker - Wrestlemania 25 2. Bayley vs Sasha Banks - NXT Takeover Brooklyn 1. Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn - NXT Takeover Dallas
Nice. I like that you put a lot of recent matches on it. Its the best period in term of in ring work, so the top 10 should reflect that. Awesome list man.
My top 10 favorite matches of all time is: 10. Randy Orton vs Mick Foley No Holds Barred Match - Backlash 2004 9. TLC 2 - Wrestlemania 17 8. I'm so happy he mentioned the Kurt angle and Lesnar match I remember being 12 and recording it on vhs and watching it over and over again. Definitely one of the greatest matches.
My favorites WWE Matches: Ziggler x Bryan Braggin Rights 2010 Austin x Rock WM 17 Taker x Michaels Bad Blood 1997 Punk x Cena MITB 2011 Taker x Michaels WM 25 Hart x Austin WM 13 Cena x Shawn WM 23 Shawn x Angle WM 21 Benoit x Hunter x Shawn WM 20 Shawn x Taker WM 26
like Shawn is the best In Ring Performer, is hard to found a abd Michaels Match, there some great NXT Match's that I watch, Cesaro x Zayn in the first NXT Special, Finn x Neville , Owens x Zayn, Zayn x Neville, Nakamura x Zayn, but that 10 matches are my favorite, there a some Cena matches like that 3 match's with Owens
Thank you for not giving away the ending to these. Never seen the Hart v. Hart cage match and haven't seen the Brock v. Angle since it first aired. Heading over to the network now!
10. Bret Hart vs HBK Iron Man Match 9. Trish Stratus vs Mickie James WrestleMania 22 8. John Cena vs HBK Raw April 2007 7. Sami Zayn vs Cesaro 2 out of 3 Falls match 6. Bret Hart vs British Bulldog SummerSlam 1992 5. John Cena vs Edge TLC Match 4. Trish Stratus vs Lita Unforgiven 2006 3. Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle WrestleMania 22 2. Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk MITB 2012 1. Bayley vs Sasha Banks NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn
Cactus Jack v Triple H at Royal Rumble 2000 was my first ever live title match. I'll never forget how hot the crowd was there that night at Madison Square Garden!
My favorite: Brock vs Taker inside hell in a cell I literally thought Taker might bleed to death during the match. Even rewatching it, I wonder how he kept functioning (and apparently passed out afterward). Even while they were pouring blood, they put on a hell of a show - including great physical wrestling.
My favorite matches of all time: 10. Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn 9. AJ Styles vs John Cena 8. The Rock vs Steve Austin II 7. Triangle Ladder Match at WrestleMania X7 6. Cactus Jack vs Triple H - Hell in a Cell - Royal Rumble 2000 5. Edge and Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs Los Guerreros 4. Angle vs Michaels - WrestleMania 21 3. Elimination Chamber 2005 2. Michaels vs Undertaker - WrestleMania 25 1. CM Punk vs John Cena - Money in the Bank
+Jason Stephens I can't say only 1 great Angle match because I don't remember every single one of them, but I genuinely love him and I know that every match with Angle will be great. But if I had to say 1 I'd say Angle vs the Undertaker (where he blocked the hells gate with pin). I don't remember when it was but it was fantastic.
+Jan Vehmanen Just a concussion as far as I'm aware. It was bloody terrifying, and he nearly did break his freakin' neck, but thankfully, he just gave himself the worst kind of headache for awhile.
i was thirteen when angle vs lesnar on smackdown happened, i watched it live, and will never forget it. It has always been my favorite match ever, and until now i always thought i was the only one.
My favorite WWE match is The End Of An Era Hell In A Cell at Wrestlemania 28. I'm not even a fan of the three main players in that match, but for some reason, that is the match I love to go back and watch. It's so melodramatic and I love it so.
My top 10 favorite matches: 1. The Undertaker vs Shawn Micheals WM 25 2. Shawn Micheals vs The Undertaker WM 26 3. Six man Hell in a cell Armageddon 4. Team RAW vs Team SmackDown Survivor Series 2005 5. Cesaro vs William Regal at NXT 2013 6. The Rock vs Mankind Royal Rumble 1999 7. Chris Jericho vs Shawn Micheals No Mercy 2008 8. Triple H vs The Undertaker: End of An Era 9. Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle Iron Man Match 2003 10. John Cena vs CM Punk Raw Winner faces the Rock at WM
I had to pause the video and replay it 5 times when I heard you say the first full match you ever saw was Cactus V Trip at RR 2000. Holy crap I'm old. My favorite match of all-time would be the '98 KOTR HIAC. My parents wouldn't let me spend 50 bucks to watch it so I had to listen through the scrambled channel (Kids today will never know). When Jim Ross lost his Sh*t I was speechless with my jaw open. I was concerned for Mick thinking a massive mistake happened. Then when I heard "How in the hell is he standing. He has a smile on his face for God's sake" I was so relieved and incredibly inspired. Shawn Micheals was the showstopper, but Mick was the heart stopper.
Rob H From a wrestling standpoint its not really that good. its simply a hell in a cell that happened to have 2 major spots that were ridiculous. but its not a match you watch for the story or wrestling. you watch it to see Foley get thrashed through the table and cell, then turn to another program after. i could think of many matches that were better. iconic doesnt equal great. see hulk hogan for that.
My top 10 favorite wwe pay per view matches of all time 10. Triple H vs Vince McMahon Armageddon 1999 9. Edge, Christian vs Dudley Boyz vs The Hardy Boyz Wrestlemania 17 8. Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 19 7. Stone Cold vs Bret Hart Survivor Series 1996 6. Chris Benoit vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels Backlash 2004 5. The Rock vs Triple H Judgement Day 2000 4. Edge vs John Cena Backlash 2009 3. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 12 2. Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker Wrestlemania 25 1. Stone Cold vs The Rock Wrestlemania 17
Anyone else enjoy the survior series match between team austin and team bischoff? The emotion for what was on the line in the match made it really good plus hbk performance
Personally, my favorite match was the End Of An Era Taker vs HHH match. At the time I watched that match, me and my friends did not know that wrestling was fake, and I cannot describe just what our hearts felt like during that match. Its the equilivent of taking a bucket of Platinum, melting the Platinum, and pouring that melted Platinum onto the wrestling campus. It was at the time and still is *PURE* *FUCKING* *BLISS!* (not talking about Alexa Bliss)
Nice list Adam! #1 was a bit of a surprise, never been a huge "Bork" guy lol but before all the suplex city stuff, the guy showed he could compete and win through various styles and go toe to toe with the best of them.
Exactly, his first run was so good. And he always seemed to work better with the smaller guys which just shows his athleticism and endurance. Current Lesnar is just a monotone steamroller. Has its fun parts but doesn't compare to his previous run
My favorite is 1998 Hell in a Cell Undertaker vs Mankind. Just the way the Foley kept on going through it all. Through the cell, onto the thumbtacks, off the cell onto the announce table! It was all just amazing especially with Jim Ross giving some of his best commentary.
Benoit vs HHH vs HBK. That was pound for pound the best match I have ever witnessed. A total clinic in timing and storytelling. The crowd was so hot for the crippler that day. He got over on his own skillset alone. Not the mic skills. The in ring skills. And this day and age, that is a huge accomplishment. Number 2 would be rock vs hogan - wrestlemania 18 toronto. What a crowd!
It's always great when they throw the fans a bone with a great TV match. There was a ladder match between Christian and RVD for the title, somewhere in the 2002-2004 range on Raw that was just outstanding.
My favorite WWE match was Jeff Hardy vs Sting at Victory Road 2011, what a collision between high flying and technical wrestling styles. I couldn't believe that Sting won that night even with the momentum Jeff had going into that match. Still great match, kind of weird how Jeff came off of tv after that but whatever
I watched the comercial before the Video just so i can give Adam and whatculture Money for their Great work! (Sorry for the spelling i am from Germany)
You dont need to LOVE every wrestlers entrance. Not all of them are good. R-Truth/ Kid-Qwik isnt a very good wrestler, storyteller and has a shit entrance. Kurt angle has a pretty lame entrance but makes up for it by being damn good in the ring
***** I REALLY HOPE that he is not a Dave Meltzer Fanboy that thinks flips and kicks are the only thing that matters and fucking Daniel Bryan and Aj Styles are better than Batista when sure they are better in ring but say Aj doesnt really have a personality. I mean if these dickhead fanboys that never watched an attitude era match always beg for the latter said era yet if Steve Austin and Rock would be now they would hate them because "They just say the same shit and they are boring in the ring".
Stanley Ongjoco omg YES he's the best and we've got Cesaro, Styles, Owens and Zayn on the same roster, when Seth comes back i'm sure it wont be long till another 5 star match for WWE
Stanley Ongjoco yeah exactly. the in ring work over the past few years hasn't been too bad especially with guys like Daniel Bryan but a good story can add so much to a match, i think a guy like Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins are excellent with story lines and bigger rivalries in a Stone Cold kind of way they just need a good opponent and time.
Angle vs Benoit. Forget what year it was, but it was pure technique of holds and reversals over and over. It was glorious to watch. Then storyline got in the way once the match was over...
