It was an astounding display of storytelling and to me, it was the closest I ever felt like the Streak would end. I mean, 3 pedigrees? A freaking Tombstone?
The storytelling in both Taker HHH matches was incredible. Second one was a bit gimmicky, the first was near perfect though. We'd be talking about that one like we do about Shawn/Taker, if Shawn/Taker hadn't happened first.
+leerobbo92 I agree, I prefer the 27 match. The 28 match was really tiring. Like, they overexposed storytelling way too much. The fingers meed to be pointed at the storyline though. The HIAC match had just too much of stories colliding at once, that it hurted the match overall. But I still love that natch. But the No Holds Barred match at 27 is a fucking masterpiece.
Difference between preference and recognition of technical prowess. He's basically acknowledging Punk-Cena is better, but that Taker-Michaels means more to him.
This is the best list. I dont agree with most of the choices, but the video, the reasons for the choices and Pacitti's wit made it the best video in the series
Great list. Patiently waiting for you and Blampied to do an Adam vs Adam live reaction (just the two of you, as God intended). Please do the right thing Pacitti.
Very well chosen and even better narrated Sir Pacitti! I could feel the happy vibes emit from you when describing these events, even though it's recorded! I could seriously hear in your voice; all those great memories of you growling up and your years of being a wrestling fan, flooding back to you, when you told us about each one of your choices! I love all WC videos, but this by far was one of the best you guys have ever made!
I have to Admit, when my dad and I were watching HBK vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 it was like the PG era was gone and it was back to the good old Attitude Era days. With everything that happened during that match, ever since, it has been the BEST WWE match I have EVER seen.
My favorite wrestlers of all times 1.stone cold 2.the rock 3.the undertaker 4.chris Jericho 5.aj styles 6.shawn Michaels 7.seth rollins 8.edge 9.brock Lesnar 10.goldberg
Taker/Michaels at WM25 is my favourite match of all time, but I was more emotionally invested in their match at WM26. Michaels (imo) is the greatest of all time, and seeing him retire was heartbreaking.
Wow, never thought in a million years someone would place one of the greatest IC matches of all time over Taker/HBK, Bret/Austin, any HiaC, TLC or World Title match, EVER!! Good on you, Pacitti. Good on you!
_of course you disagree, you're youtube commenters_ Holy shit. I was going to comment with some pseudo-hate for you not being the good Adam, but this is my favourite thing I've ever heard in a video on youtube.
Which match is better? Cena vs Lesnar Summerslam or Cena vs Rollins vs Lesnar? The latter, which match do I personally prefer? The former. Its called opinions man
I love his matches,I love his characters, I love his personality, I love his daughter, I love his books, I love his charity work, I love his in ring psychology, I love his daughter, I love his promos, I love his beard, I love his comedy shows and I love his daughter
Ah shit, wait , whos that bearded man with that barbed wire bat walking towards whatculture office? He looks menacing , but who is that man and why does he have pacitti writtn in blood on his shirt?
In which case Mick is probably already well aware at how much fun they poke at being over-the-top about their own opinions, the opinions of each other, and the opinions of the fans. Lighten up a little, buddy.
well if does we loved him before his hot daughter so that counts right? side note thres a video of her twerking in a pizza costume, so clearly she's his daughter.
This is the best "favourite matches" video of all the what culture guys. not that his list was better. all the lists were good.but the way pacitti explained everything in a clinical way really attracted me.
What makes the hart v bulldog match even more incredible is that according to Bret, bulldog sadly was on a cocaine binge not long before the match, which in essence just showed how good bulldog was to go and perform like he did
"[Adam Blampied] was worried that the fans would make fun of him for the type of wrestling he actually enjoys" *TNA Impact logo on the TV* Couldn't help but burst out loud at that
Mick Foley's hell in a cell fall is arguably the biggest, most memorable, and most iconic spot of all time. It really wouldn't surprise me if even my parents knew about that.
All the top 10 matches in WWE history mentioned. You could either way with what's the top 5 really. Might be harder to do so if you had a "one match per wrestler" rule bar multiple combatants in said match. My personal top 5 in order from 1-5: 1: Angle vs Benoit for the WWE title at Royal Rumble 2003 (my personal favorite technical masterpiece ever) 2: Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13 (do I need to explain) 3: The 10 Man Tag Match from In Your House: Canadian Stampede (the lone exception I will add to said rule) 4: CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam 2013 5: TLC 1 at Summerslam 2000. Honorable Mentions: Savage vs Steamboat from Wrestlemania 3, the first ever Hell in a Cell at Badd Blood '97, Bret vs Owen from Summerslam '94, Lesnar vs Angle Ironman Match on Smackdown, the 2004 Royal Rumble Match.
While the 92 Rumble was fantastic, my personal favorite Rumble is probably the 1995 Rumble. Number 1 and 2 were the final two in the ring. It was phenomenal.
my list 10. Randy vs Cena vs HHH WM24 9. HBK VS Kurt Angle WM21 8. Bayley Vs Sasha Banks 7. TLC 2 6. Edge vs Undertaker WM24 5. Razor Vs HBK 4.Edge vs Undertaker TLC ONS 2008 3. Austin vs Rock WM17 2. Nakamura Vs Sami Zayn 1. HBK Vs Undertaker WM25
Do we disagree with you, of course, but you picked some great matches for sure. Personally, I think TLC 2 is the most exciting match in history, it was nice to see all of you had it in the top ten, I was just surprised it wasn't higher on everyones list. My number two would probably be Shane vs Angle at KotR. I always loved Shane's dedication when he didn't have to go as far as he did, that match cemented it for me. Jericho vs HHH , last man standing is probably my number three, that whole fued was amazing.
my best WWE matches of all of all time, in no particular order. 1; Stone Cold VS Shawn Michaels wrestlemania 14 2: The Rock VS Mankind on Raw 1999 3: Stone Cold VS The Rock Backlash 1999 4: Triple H VS The Undertaker Wrestlrmania 17 5: The Rock VS Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania 18 6: Kurt Angle VS Brock Lesnar Wrestlemania 19 7: Shawn Michaels VS The Undertaker Wrestlemania 26 8: Shawn Michaels VS Ric Flair Wrestlemania 24 9: Shawn Michaels VS Shelton Benjamin on Raw, Gold rush tournament. 10: Undertaker VS Mankind, Hell in a Cell. 11: Stone Cold VS Undertaker First Blood Match, Vince Leaves 1999 12: Triple H VS Mankind Royal Rumble 2000 13: Triple H VS Batisa, Hell in a Cell 14: Stone cold VS the Rock Wrestlemania 15 15: Stone Cold VS the Rock Wrestlemania 19 16: Stone Cold VS the Rock Wrestlemania 17 17: Royal Rumble 1999 18: JBL VS Big Show, Cage Match, No Way Out 2004, I think 19: TLC 2 Wrestlemania 17 20: triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 28, Hell in a cell
Can you have the whatculture members do their top 10 favourite matches that arent wwe matches bc i want to see how you guys feel abt matches like the tna triple threat for the x division title, etc
Bret and Shawn may have had the first WWF/E ladder match in 1992, but the FIRST EVER ladder match involved the snake man. Jake Roberts vs Big Daddy Ritter in 1979 for Stampede Wrestling
bret hart vs perfect summer slam is probably my favorite wwe match of all time.it was so entertaining. and bret has said perfect is his all time favorite opponent
john cena vs edge unforgiven 2006 TLC match in toronto. one of JR's best calls when cena FU's edge off the top of the ladders through 6 tables and grabs the belt.
