there is always a group of fans chanting "you can't wrestle". Cena has proved that he is great but people chants that he sucks. John Cena is extremely underrated
Today kids at school were talking about football and I wasn't paying attention and someone asked me, "Who's your favorite?" and I went with my natural instinct and said "TAKER" and this kid said, "I haven't heard of that team."
And John Cena (Say what you will, the man us iconic and easily recognizable)...and Triple H (The man went from Aristocrat to badass and we all bought that)...and Jeff Hardy (Mr. I am Gonna Swanton Bomb off all the tall things)...and Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy (Because seriously...because SERIOUSLY)...
My Top 10 : 1. Shawn Michaels ( HBK ) - Best Technical Wrestler & Greatest In- Ring Performer In My Opinion. Amazing Mic Worker As Well. Purely A Gifted Wrestler 2. Edge ( Rated-R Superstar ) - My Personal Favorite Heel Then When I Started Watching Wrestling 6. Stone Cold Steve Austin ( SCSA ) - Biggest Draw In WWE History. Cm punk wasn't even comparable to angle. Kurt Angle is a legend he is a Olympic gold medalist while punk doesn't even have an amateur wrestling carrier kurt was a professional wrestler whereas cm punk was an indie wrestler who learned wrestling form backyard wrestling. Kurt angle had more carisma than punk. He was a better wrestler than punk. He was more funnier than cmpunk. He could cut better promos than cmpunk. He is a national hero and most importantly he can survive more than 18second no he could kick anyones ass in the octagon.
Kurt is the greatest wrestler ever to strap on boots. Untouchable technicality, phenomenal charisma, and he just plain "got it". He took to the business like a duck to water. It's no easy task to go from amateur wrestling to the pros. They are vastly different. For every Chad Gable there are 10 amateurs who were absolute shit in the pros. My favorite Kurt Angle moment was the milk truck incident. Sheer bliss. I almost pissed myself and I was a grown-ass man.
If amateur wrestling and pro wrestling are "vastly different", why mention them together? It's not like going from college to pro football. I wonder, is it even relevant to talk about a wrestler's amateur background? But quite a few wrestlers had an amateur background: Mike Rotundo, Bob Backlund, The Steiners, Brad Rheingans, Steve Williams, Iron Sheik, and I'm certain a million others. Anyway, I could name a million better than KA.
Depends on the era of wrestling. In the modern era it's not. Having a legit wrestling background is not a prerequisite for success, nor does it really help. Though I agree that calling Kurt the best ever is a bit preposterous.
He was already world champ and was among the top superstars long before steph became a thing Hes also one of the greatest heels of all time and you dont get the reaction like the one he got in 02 because he was banging steph But believe what you want, as delsional as it is
For me (No order): - Sting - Triple H (he makes the best entrances) - CM Punk - Jeff Hardy - Aj Styles - Randy Orton - Kenny Omega - The Undertaker - Shawn Michaels - John Cena - Aj Lee (my favorite Woman Wrestler) Honorable Mentions: Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar (I hate his champions run) & Alexa Bliss (she’s not that good in ring, but she plays her character amazingly)
Sam Marky I think you're forgetting future hall of famer and everyone's favorite roman reigns. I mean how could he not be our favorite if you go to WWE RU-vid and look at a video with Roman reigns it's all cheers. Clearly he's the greatest of all time I mean he can superman punch, and spear, and Samoan drop, and spear, and superman punch, and end all of our dreams. Obviously he's amazing
ummm am I the only one who thinks that Angle was put as #1 cuz he's coming to WCPW? not that he isn't great, it's just that it's to much of a coincidence...
But at least Angle is one of say 30 people that 99% of people will have as their #1. It isn't like he picked Sheamus. Kurt has a legitimate argument to be in the conversation. He is probably one of the less picked Top 30 but he is there. In mine he is #2.
Okay so I’m a Ruthless Aggression era kid. I’m listing the greatest performers IVE seen. 10. Johnny Gargano 9. Chris Jericho 8. Triple H 7. Daniel Bryan 6. Seth Rollins 5. AJ Styles 4. Edge 3. Shawn Micheals 2. The Undertaker 1. John Cena Honorable Mentions Eddie Guerrero, Tomasso Ciampa, Chris Benoit, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton
@@Stinkmeaner-_- Cause that's his opinion(for example my favorite wrestler aj styles, tetsuya naito, kazichika okada, prince devitt aka finn balor,Etc),Just let them be If you don't like his list well you can do your own list Not eveyone has the same opinion as you do,they got different view, how they enjoy wrestling also different Example:-there's people enjoy spot fest -storyline -character of the wrestler -or Just hard hitting strong style wrestling. Etc
@@abderrahimabderrahim6659 ummm I don't know why he put john cena on number 1 spot but maybe because that he watch wwe during the ruthless aggresion era and I don't know how that guy enjoy wrestling like i said people enjoy wrestling in lot a ways and you can enjoy wrestling as you please
No exaggeration. Three of my five required speeches in my freshman speech class were about or involved Kurt Angle in some way. I was at the Raw in Sacramento, CA, where he sprayed the alliance with the milk truck. His willingness to goof and put others over and yet maintain a sense of professionalism, aggression, and wariness by his foes in the ring were magical. And though countering moves may be old hat now, it seemed like there was a period where he was singlehandedly doing so as though it were now part of his arsenal to be prepared to get out of and counter others' finishers. Glad to see he's number 1 even if I'm super late to the game in watching this video.
YES to Kurt Angle, and you're absolutely on point about his humor. There may not be a funnier sight on WWE television than Kurt wearing that tiny cowboy hat, and the milk truck parody of Austin's beer truck run-in was genius.
HHH has put on consistently good to excellent matches for almost 20 years in WWF/E and also has cut some of the best heel promos of all time and is easily one of the best overall heels there has ever been You're a complete fool if you think he doesnt deserve to be up there with the all time greats
Omg Brock’s first tenure in WWE was AMAZING. He had such a good arsenal of moves, he really was one of the best and most exciting technical wrestlers in the world at the time.
to me the top 3 ever are Eddie, AJ, and HBK. Especially considering they were always viewed as 'undersized', it's even more impressive what they accomplished. Send me your hate!
Boss Ninja misawa is a biased choice, he's my all time favorite but l do also believe he is the all time great.... 10-7 you can put that in any order l just put it in my eyes the best order.
the top 10 imo is 10. CM Punk 9. AJ Styles 8. Eddie Guerrero 7. Chris Jericho 6. The Rock 5. Stone Cold Steve Austin 4. Ric Flair 3. Kurt Angle 2. Shawn Michaels 1. The Undertaker Honorable Mentions Triple H Chris Benoit Mick Foley Edge Kane Randy Orton John Cena Hulk Hogan Randy Savage Brock Lesnar
Kurt Angle was so good that TO THIS DAY, I always interpreted him as a face so much I had trouble acknowledging him as a heel when he turned as a kid after his feud with Austin. I always saw him as "The good guy."
10)John Cena-solely because of his run from 2015 to this date(even though his contribution to wwe cant be ignored) 9)The Rock-Probably the most charismatic wrestler of all time.He can create shockwaves in the wwe crowd just by showing up his goddamn face even in 2017. 8)Undertaker-reasons same as Blampied. 7)Bret Hart-one of the greatest technicians.Would have been higher on the list had he wrestled a few more years and I had seen more of his work. 6)Daniel Bryan-Reasons same as Blampied.I mean..you just cant ignore him.THE greatest underdog babyface.Could have been no. 1 if he was still wrestling. 5)Kurt Angle-Great wrestler but one of my favourites due to the humour he brought to the table. 4)Stone Cold-reasons same as Blampied.Biggest draw in professional wrestling. 3)AJ Styles-Do I need to explain why he is no. 3?if i do this list 2 years later he would probably be no.1. 2)CM Punk-My favourite sports entertainer.I was just emotionally attached to his work. His promos,in ring work and the impact(due to him you are seeing Bryan and styles succeed because he showed everybody what Indy guys are capable of) were amazing. 1)Shawn Michaels-greatest pro wrestler of all time, greatest technician of all time, the pros in favour in him just go on and on.A true legend.
My list: 10) Ultimate Warrior. 9) Bruno Sammartino 8) Kane. 7) Bret The Hitman Hart. 6) Ric Flair. 5) Hulk Hogan. 4) The Rock. 3) Stone Cold Steve Austin. 2) Shawn Michaels. 1) The Undertaker.
I didn't think it would happen, but AJ finally cracked my top ten with his WWE run so far. Wish I'd seen more than just one of his matches prior to signing with WWE, he is damn good
I actually think Cena deserves a place on this list. I know that he is not liked by most and his character is so old, but he has the stats in the ring, and whether he's rapping, being a kids show character, honest or a comedian, his promo work is phenomenal (get some lessons from him Roman) and also, he's had one hell of a career even though he's been subject to terrible booking at times and his character has not been freshened up in 14 years. Also add to that, when anyone thinks of WWE in its PG context, John Cena is the first name tgat enters everyones head, it's almost impossible to not have some type of investment in whatever story or feud he's in whether it's "lets go Cena" or "Cena sucks". He knows how to put other guys over as well, and mark my words, he is among the 0.5% of wrestlers who can come out of massive defeats from squash matches that make him look as bad as Santino Marella, yet pull off great winscand be the most successful geand dlam champ in WWE history along with Ric Flair.
Tamer TV Because the IWC is full of a bunch of sick cunts who feel the need to rim anything that people are completely against to feel like some sort of fucking special mavericks. They booted him from WWE history and people frown upon his name so the internet wrestling fucking weirdo psychopaths in ther mums basements hop on the wagon
Greatest or Favorite because no way in hell I'm putting Bryan over Savage or Steamboat. Hell as much as I can't stand him Bryan ain't better than CM Punk.
Are you crazy Bryan is miles better than Punk, punk literally stole all his moveset from Hideo, and his fanbase is very niche, while Daniels is huge and for all intents way more likeable for everyone, Punk just comes out as a bitter crying teen. Daniel is a draw anywhere he goes, while Punk on the other side is a draw for a short period for a very niche small group
you're not the only one. I've actually thought WWE wise it's always been between the rock and stone cold, the rock being better cause of better mic skills and being more athletic lol
They are both equal imo, they were far from being the best in ring competitors but they were, and still are, untouchable when it comes to charisma and drawing power
which in my opinion is what WWE is all about. drawing power and charisma, which is why I've always thought it was the rock 1st, then Stone cold, then Shawn Michaels
really? likr your opinion is up to you but like if you csn include Daniel brian than you can include cm punk. He was the best mic worker of modern wrestling. He used hard work and his own charisma to make himself a star. he is one of the greats to me
My list not in any order: - shawn michaels - chris benoit - eddie guerrero - undertaker - goldberg - john cena - randy orton - edge - christian - aj styles Honorable mention: bret hart, owen hart, ric flair, hulk hogan, brock lesnar, jeff hardy, triple h, chris jericho, kurt angle.
My top 10 favorite wrestlers of all time: 10. Shinsuke Nakamura - He just great in the ring and he's a charismatic monkey. I absolutely love his mannerisms in the ring. 9. Daniel Bryan - Just an absolute technical beast in the ring. Also charismatic ( 2 things I love about a wrestler) his main event win at WrestleMania 30 made cry in joy. I was devastated when he retired. 8. John Cena - Believe it or not, he has improved his wrestling ability over the years. He is also extremely entertaining. I kind of miss him on SmackDown Live. 7. Eddie Guerrero - I love Eddie. He was charismatic, had an awesome wrestling ability, and was just entertaining. I was devastating when he suddenly passed away 11 years ago. 6. Stone Cold - Austin was a huge draw in the 90's and he practically ended the Monday Night Wars. He was just a complete rebel. You can tell his feud with McMahon was the most successful feud of all time when McMahon tries it with Punk and Roman Reigns. 5. The Rock - He is the most charismatic wrestler ever. Just a movie star. Him, along with Austin, brought an end to the Monday Night Wars. 4. Brock Lesnar - The biggest draw in WWE today along with Cena and The Rock. Just a beast. I absolutely loved his 2002-2004 run with the WWE. Enjoyed his UFC work. And loved his 2014-2015 run as WWE champion (even though he was absent for half of the time) You can tell you got a beast when Undertaker allows you to break his undefeated streak at WrestleMania. 3. The Undertaker - The most successful WWE superstar in history, The Undertaker is highly respected by everyone. His in-ring work, his ability to work with anyone is just absolutely amazing. In love the guy. 2. AJ Styles - A absolutely great worker. He has the best moveset ever. All of his WWE matches so far have been Phenomenal. His battles with Cena, Ambrose, Reigns, Nakamura, Jericho and even Ellsworth have been off the charts. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't win Superstar of the Year 2016. 1. Kurt Angle - An utter beast. Great technical wrestler, on-par mic skills, absolutely hilarious. Just a great. Awesome feuds and matches with Edge, Mysterio, Michaels, Austin, Benoit, Jericho, Lesnar, Cena, Rock, Taker, Eddie the list just goes on. My favorite wrestler of all time. Honorable Mentions: Shawn Michaels, Edge, Razor Ramon, Randy Orton, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Macho Man, Randy Savage, and James Ellsworth.
I started watching wrestling in 2000 when I was 12, and wouldn't you know it that none of the face wrestlers captured my attention or affection like KURT FREAKIN' ANGLE. So glad he's your favorite too Adam! That being said....HOW THE FUDGE COULD YOU LEAVE ANGLE VS. MICHAELS OFF YOUR GREATEST WM MATCHES LIST???
I'll save him the trouble: Jim Londos, Bruno Sammartino, Lou Thesz, Hulk Hogan, Wild Bill Longson, Ed Strangler Lewis, Ric Flair, Joe Stecher, Antonino Rocca, and Buddy Rogers. This is while factoring in longevity as a top draw, as well as normalizing the inflation rates of ticket prices. Steve Austin set the record for drawing the most big gates over a one year period, but he lacked the longevity to crack a top 10. Frank Gotch is in the same boat.
JOHN CENA IS GARBAGE COMPARED TO ANYONE ON THIS LIST THE DUDE FUCKING KISSES ASS EVERY TIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH, DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF SELLING, DRESSES LIKE A DWEEB, WEARS SHIT T SHIRTS, EXPLOITS MAKE A WISH ECT JOHN CENA IS A FUCKING BUM AT BEST
***** They only promote what he does for make a wish nobody fucking else to try and get him over! are you brain dead no wonder he has been on top for so long dummies like you cant see what the fuck they do to try and get the talentless fuck over.
That list is cancerous. Why in the hell is Aj styles on the list.I love him but he is so boring as a face.Daniel bryan is not even close 2 the undertaker.Taker should be atleast top 5
CM Punk was definitely better on the mic but I think Bryan was the better in-ring performer. Which coupled with the slight tragedy of his career being cut short the way it was gives him a bit more room to be put on this lsit.
10 Shawn Michaels 9 Jushin Liger 8 Daniel Bryan 7 AJ Styles 6 Owen Hart 5 Bret Hart 4 Kurt Angle 3 Chris Benoit (not being a hipster, genuinely one of my favourites growing up) 2 Eddie Guerrero 1 Chris Jericho Honourable mentions Brock Lesnar Adam Cole Undertaker Mr Perfect Pete Dunne
I'm from a newer generation so oh boy. I'm not putting a top-10 because I would take all night but some of the wrestlers I would include are Edge undertaker Rey Mysterio Sami Zayn Finn balor Zack Ryder Shawn Michaels Randy Orton AJ styles CM Punk. Just off the top of my head and in no particular order
Brock isn't a draw like he used to be, the whole being on steroids f-ed that up for him. Plus that non-match at Summerslam really made him hated. The WWE does not drug test Brock or Triple H. I only want Heyman, fuck the steroid machine.
He is a sick guy so he should appear on this list. When Adam put Angle on this list, I assumed he thought he was SICK instead of SUCK. #AdamBlampiedisaStupidIdiot
