I moved there early 2016. Came home 2 months later. I had job offers and interviews, but I knew something was wrong. Already tons of homeless, insanely high population in small condensed area, unbearable traffic, heavy hispanic population (moat radio stations are in Spanish), and cost of living is insane.I knew cost was rough going in, but once you're there, the extent of it will blow your mind.

California has more than enough room for livestock but as a retired homeless I say fuck the homeless. 90% won't get off what ever drug that is keeping them down, as for the other 10% That's a mix of people from Seattle who want to pretend to be "homeless" and crazy people but in my mind they're both the same. So Catalina island the PC version or Soylent Green I don't care which one.
If people with money don't like it they should start doing what the homeless do and ignore the thugs in the government. They get scared when one person with money is made an example of and gets their home torn down because there is a rare owl in the area with an alternative life style.
