There was more effort and defense during the 1988 NBA All Star game than during most current regular season NBA games. True fans want to see a competitive all star game. Without defensive effort, it is just a layup line for 48 minutes. If Adam makes it into a "let's just have fun" all star weekend with celebrities, the NBA will continue to lose its real fans who spend money. And, fans don't begrudge stars making lots of money, but those fans want to see a good game. They want to see effort. Adam looks at basketball as just entertainment and not competition.

I don't understand why basketball fans don't cancel subscriptions to streaming services, league passes, etc., stop going to games, buying the merch, until they fix things. Money talks... Quit giving them money. I dropped ESPN and TNT, a couple of years ago, and don't miss it at all.
