By request I bring to you an epic battle of Adam Warlock vs the Red Skull! On the surface this seems like a random matchup, but truly these two really show the best of Marvel Champions. This matchup is filled with tough choices and heavy struggles. So much potential for variety and different approaches to the challenge at hand. It’s a great game!
Also this video will serve as my last for a little while as I need to take time to focus on family and prepare my home to welcome our new son! Fear not, I will return when life allows it, but for now just know I have loved every second of my time spent sharing the game with you and I’m counting down the days til we can Get Up and Game once more!

First of all: another baby?? Congrats, man! Hope all goes well and that you get plenty of sleep. We can always wait for more videos, and there's plenty of content out there. Secondly, thank you again for taking my suggestion and doing a playthrough. Im at work at the moment, but I can't wait to get back home and watch! Wow, that was a tough one! All those deckbuilding tips were great and very easy to digest, so thank you again for your hard work. I feel privileged to have been the motivation for the existence of this video, and I can't wait to see what you come up with when you return from your much deserved break (I mean, I know it's not technically a "break" when a baby's involved, but it's a break from RU-vid). Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah it was a really fun challenge. I kept tweaking the deck from practice game to practice game, and even then it was always a tough fight. Watching it back I realized I played very cautiously and tentatively but it’s only because I’ve lost enough times that I was always being very careful to fully manage the board so I didn’t get swarmed and fall behind. Thanks for the great suggestion and all the kind words!

Great Game! Thanks for sharing. Adam is slow but he gets there, I like how he adds extra value to the cards with his Battle Mage, and all the drawing and discarding makes him tons of fun. Watching you play I realized I played 2 cards wrong, I played The Sorcerer Supreme also drawing extra card in Alter-Ego, I only paid attention to the Mystic requirement which Adam has in AE, and also I played Cosmic Ward wrong, didn't pay attention that it was a Forced Interrupt and I always kept it for a Treachery I wanted to counter instead of the first one to be revealed. Congrats again for baby #2, best of luck and I'll be waiting for your come back :)

@@GetUpandGame Every circumstance is different. I had family support in my house for some time. I also pre-recorded content and kept publishing on a weekly basis. And then slowly came back recording but never on the same frequency as before. This year the burnout took over and I decided to take a break of my main channel and started this one focused only on Marvel Champions and maybe LOTR in the future. Card games are easier because there’s ton of content and you don’t need to learn new rules all the time. And of course they’re sheer fun 🤩

I haven't been able to watch in a while, but now I have a nice stockpile of Drax videos to catch up on. I always enjoy your deck explanation, what the hero provides, and how the deck complements their play-style. Have to get back to work after turn 1, but looking forward to seeing how this match goes!

Thanks! I’ve been using the KMC Perfect Fit sleeves forever and I’ve always really liked them. They aren’t as nice as the Dragon Shield Matte that a lot of people use, but they’re a lot cheaper and they still have a decent feel and a good fit

@@stevengutierrez8368 those are the clear ones. Somebody gifted me some Dragon Shields so I busted them out for this video lol but I have all my cards in those clear ones normally
