Watch as Alpine Brooks details the latest firmware update (v. 4.0.001) for the Alpine iLX-507, iLX-F509, iLX-F511, i509-WRA-JK, and i509-WRA-JLand explains the new features added for SiriusXM 360L users.
Firmware Update V. 4.0.001 also corrects and adds the following:
- Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity issues
- Echoing issues when making phone calls
- Flickering camera screen when selecting camera from the AUX screen

Is there a way to disable the 360. Cause every time I get in my truck it want me to connect to internet which I don’t want cause I have my Apple car play going and you can’t dual connect.

agreed, this needs to be resolved ASAP or i'm no longer offering this unit as we have many complaints about it.

@@jojopuppyfish when I updated the other day and reset unit it removed the Wi-Fi notification. Hope that helps

My ILX 507 asks me to connect to Wi-Fi each time I press the XM icon. Can I get rid of that?

How do remove Sirius all together in countries that cannot get it and install Spotify which is world wide? Of is this a kickback thing Sirius is paying for?

Please store the file at another location. It doesn't matter what browser I use, what settings I have, it always fails to download. It fails at 1071MB every time. I have tried firefox, chrome, edge. I tried curl and wget. It doesn't matter. Your upload speeds are atrocious and it will not allow me to get more than 1071MB of data. It is very demoralizing to wait 13 minutes just to watch it fail with 35 seconds to go.

Does 360L only work with Wi-Fi or a hotspot? Is there a xm tuner that this work work on also? I’m thinking of getting sxv300v1 for the Alpine I509 and didn’t know if that will make the 360L work.

Question i have is why the presets don't store the channels one has selected? And I have not downloaded the update yet because it keeps resetting after it starts to download.

nice Vid I was going to update (australia edition) on a 8gb FAT32 empty thumbdrive, single update unzipped folder and HU not recognising. I've downloaded on a Mac and another thumbdrive on a windows 10. I'm obviously doing something wrong.current firmware version is 1.1.230 any assistance appreciated

If you have the Australian version you may have to reach out to Alpine Australia for the firmware updates as I believe there are software differences between the US version and Australian version which could be contributing to the issues you are having. www.alpine.com.au/support/

What is the point of 360L if you still have to use your phone to connect? Thought this was a unit that would incorporate more channels without using the phone and this was it. Guess I'll keep my old factory unit for longer 😞

The added channels are all through on-demand/streaming much like services like Pandora, Spotify, Carplay etc. so it requires either smartphone or in-vehicle wifi.

How do I fix the issue with gps? It seems to work ok like 50% of the time. It puts me like 500 ft away from my exact location. I know it’s not an iPhone issue. Any help would be appreciated.

So odds are this is because of the placement of the gps antenna itself. We have seen it before where the antenna is stuffed into the dash during installation and interference from the vehicle itself does not allow it to get a proper signal. Best bet is to place the gps antenna up on top of the dash away from the gauge cluster depending on your vehicle.
