I know it’s an old video but this helped me a lot. So I e been a martial artist for 25 years and I’ve posted a few Aikido videos to my channel. But recently (last 2 yrs) I’ve not been able to practice, and I (and my wife) has found me constantly commenting and almost shouting at the tv whenever a politician says or does something completely bonkers. My wife inevitably says “they can’t hear you Andy”, so I’m considering creating a new channel and voicing my concerns and dismay on you tube instead. It’s not to make money it’s not to become famous but to give myself an outlet for my frustrations with the way the world is going. I am planning on calling the channel “Voice of Freedom” and plan on covering everything from political commentary to the psychological effects of the current situation philosophy and the direction of travel the west is headed, It’s a very broad spectrum and it’s something I’ve been considering doing for over a year. I don’t have much money and I have no idea where to start in terms of equipment, but I have an iPhone and a voice and an idea, I guess you have to start somewhere. So thanks for the video and help and you have a new subscriber.
So I have two questions, what do you think of adding new channels to the same email address vs creating a whole separate email address for new accounts?
@Deep Relaxation Music Hi so i been looking for that specific thing , so as you said if i have 2 different gmails and 1 of them's channel gets a copyright strikes does the other account's channel would get affected ? if no , even if it has the same phone number? please let me know asap i need help
What I dont understand is why it says in google to just press your profile photo in youtube to create an account when obviously there are more steps to doing that. It mentions nowhere that you have to put /account but thank you for this video. It is just annoying when youtube itself cant tell you how to use it correctly.
This was so straight to the point and helpful, thank you. I do however have a question, but I will check to see if you did a video too. Just in case you didn't already, I inadvertently created a RU-vid channel on an email that I didn't plan to use for such. Is there a way to delete it? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing, if my added channel qualifies with the requirements to be monetized does do I need to sign up for a new adsence account or my main channel will suffice?
Cool vid, short and right to the point. Planning to do a non profit leader channel that is separate from our family RU-vid channel V-FAM, that I finally launched around the end of Dec 2018. RU-vid is fantastic. Great way to connect with people, family - friends and general public about a specific topic of interest.
hi David thanks for this video. I'd like to know the pros and cons of creating multiple channels within one account. I am 2weeks old channel and I intend mulitple brand contents. I am still deciding if I'll mix all contents in one channel or create brand channels for each niche of my brand contents.
Does the ability to monetize carry over to the additional channels? I would think a person would have to start over with the statistical requirements. I have a second experimental channel and I don't think it gets near enough watch time to be monetized.
any help please for the following question want to record films dvd-r from youtube to transfer on any dvd player, don't know which downloader or burning system to use as there are so many to choose from as what are safest without viruses thanks for help again.
So when it comes to monetization. Will it affect your main channel? And will the adscence accounts be automatically linked after the new one has met the requirements?
Thank you for the video. I haven't spent much time on my RU-vid account but I see I need to add channels to it. I got busy with my music group (Trio) and need to upload some videos. Probably I'd need two different channels with the same content, one for my clients and another for music agent's client(s) without my contact info.
I made an account for my grandchildren to access. They live far away, and the little status-update-type videos that I make are too large for email. While the channel I just made with your help is public, but no one who doesn't know the silly name of it will search for it, and my videos will not be promoted by YT, so it functions like a private, no-password, easy way to share videos.
Since the RU-vid app keeps sending me on an endless loop of signing in I’m guessing that it isn’t possible to create a new brand channel to my main account. I suppose it needs to be done from a computer instead. Thanks for the information.
What a great video, I have decided to add a channel to my existing channel so this video was very good for me, great video, has helped me a lot, for a new gaming channel that I’m very new to this and would like to create, I have a lot of ideas just want to see how well I can do, with game play created from myself all to be revealed very soon thankyou 😁😁 xx
Some really good comments and videos you have made, I am still very new to RU-vid, but have not a lot of experience in creating a good video, I have always asked around and had requests to sing certain songs but engaging with a audience is what I feel I lack any advice or tips would be much appreciated thanks very much 😁 with a gaming channel that I would like to create which will help me towards my other channel xx
Hi, I need your help. I post 4 different types of RU-vid videos and loosing subscribers. Example: 1/AutoCAD tutorials, 2/ religious studies, 3/ Computer tech, 4/ beauty of nature. I have already lots of videos, should I separate them according to these 4 types of channels, I don’t want my subscribers see something not familiar and unsubscribe me. What should I do?
I'm thinking about creating a new RU-vid channel because I want to do a vlog and make it an extension of my current RU-vid channel, which you should subscribe to.
Thanks! I'm confused though. My intent is to create a second channel for "urban exploring" since my channel is mostly auto repair. But, when I choose channel names every one I choose seems to be available, even tried typing in a known existing channel and it worked. Why?? Is an added channel treated as a completely separate channel?
Cool, thanks. I was curious about making a new channel because people that I know IRL/in person/family watch my current channel that is mostly gaming and related fun stuff and I wanted to make a different channel for discussions about other topics without the people I know IRL/in person watching it and without it affecting the current theme of content on my current channel.
That was useful. You could just start with. YOU CANNOT DO THIS ON YOUR PHONE. And there you go. I think I will subscribe anyway. Because I might restart my business
That is what I did... All I see is a drawing of a pile of old TV's No way to upload videos or personalize. It's been 4 days, no change. I made my original channel years ago with no trouble.
Thanks for the great info! I currently have one channel but I have videos in English and Spanish. I created playlists there but I think I can target my audiences better is I have exclusive channel with each language. What do you think? Love to know.
So if I add a new youtube channel to my account and I'm already monetized on my main account will the subs be carried over to my new account? Will I be able to monetize my new channel or do I have to get 1000 subs like on my main account? Thanks.
