I bought it a couple of months back when it first came out - great watch. I normally go for larger watches and don't ever touch smaller watches at all but bought this one to try for size out of curiosity (as well as for the sand dial) - it is absolutely NOT too small and a great foil / contrast to my other larger watches. Fit and finish are first class and pretty amazing at this price. I would advise going for the 'sand dune' version as I think the textured dial has much better 'definition' in this colour, as well as the fact that it really does look like sand which really make this a standout feature of the watch.

Thank you for the great video. The watch does not have a sapphire crystal and it is still protruding, scratches are inevitable. That's a shame because the design is very appealing, but Seiko has quartz watches with sapphire crystal and date and weekday display and even massive bracelets for not much more money. This watch is beautiful as it is a no go.

I like the blue. I'm from Canada so the sand would be not the to buy but I like every one. I do wish it was sapphire. But it dosen't matter. I love it. Great watch. Thank you sandy.. Simon. Hehe

This is probably the best (actually more convenient) all purpose watch one can get...you can take it to a dinner party, you can swim and even dive with it (my professional scuba diving friends don't go much beyond the 30 meter range), you can use it as a field watch, and you can use it as a beater watch. No need to wind it, will be ready to use anytime and hands sweep as a mechanical watch, and its inexpensive, and is well built and......its extremely beautiful...

I love it, but the branding and the lower text ruin it for me. Imagine how nice it would be with a more simple classy name and nothing else written on the dial. I don't mind the mecaquartz movement

I love the texturing of the dial, and it definitely works in that color. The handset and hour markers give it a dressy vibe, and the case size and shape really work. Unfortunately, the logo and text here ruin that dress vibe. I'm not a fan of sterile dials, so that wouldn't work as an option. Really a pity...they just missed a winner (especially if it was an automatic movement). Thanks for another great review!

Got mine on the wrist, i went for the white dial. Crown a little bit stiff and some sharp edges, but its still so much confortable I sometime forget i’m wearing it. The logo is meh but it doesnt annoy me much, the dial is superb !

As a Seiko collector I’ve nabbed it for £36 plus tax today from Aliexpress - free postage! Applied indices, a sweep Quartz movement, 316 steel and gorgeous ‘Sandstorm’ dial for that price is unreal! Hate the logo, wish they did a sterile version, but could not pass up at that price. Sapphire crystal shouldn’t be expected at this entry level, it’s not that great anyway unless applied with an AR coating and even then it’s brittle af unlike mineral. Can’t wait for its arrival - thanks so much for the informative video 👍🏻

Mineral crystal should not even be taken into consideration these days. Even the Pagani 1734 has sapphire, which sells for 20-50 dollars. Also, the text/logo is attrocious still, they ought to really change it. Why didn't they take the Reddit poll into consideration? Shame

At least it is mineral and not plastic like a certain overpriced plastic watch. At this price it is astoundingly good. I have the sand dial version and it is lovely. The watch looks far more expensive than the money paid.

I got the light blue one. Wearing it for the first time today. Very nice job on all aspects. I like it. It looks a bit small on my wrist (7.5), yet I do usually wear them quite big..

i really split between the sand or the ice blue version. These level of manufacturing in China is the reason Seiko discontinued the 5S21 i guess

I have one and iut is a bit more dark than videos and pictures show. It is relatively small. It looks really good tho especially considered the price.
