the best way when i put some soles on my homecoming suit was only putting soles then putting super glue, after it dries i manualy sew the sole from the side to the fabric. its kinda hard but its 98% worked for me.
Personally, i probably would have tried to stitch the suits fabric to the watershoes. Or just alter the shoes to look more like the suit and ignore the old soles completely, they didnt match the watershoe soles anyway

Hey miles love your videos and idk if you want to but if you want to try and use a converse shoes wuth a rubber toe thing on the end of it, them shoes that skaters wear a lot? on the inside of the suit and add a sole to to the outside of the suit as that is what I did for my homecoming suit and came out great and helps make it feel more like a real shoe, hope this helps if you do want to try this idea but it does work well🙂👍

I made the same mistake when ordering my Spiderman 2099 suit and all I did to kinda of fix it is put a sock on that has padding inside of the Socks and put the suit on. It kinda worked
